I still hate Techies

I lost a game where we should've won ~30 minutes because we couldn't push against his remote mines. This gave their jugg time to come online and wreck us so hard. I guess I sort of see why people pick him now because he does ACTUALLY have his uses, but he just isn't fun (pretend that "fun" was bolder. I'm too lazy).

Techies are anti push. If the techies are able to get their aghs; that's even worse. Then their back line nukers.

The game in question, we were losing badly with Techies on the other team. They'd taken all our rax's within about 35 minutes, but then couldn't actually finish us off as they took their foot off the gas, we started winning every teamfight in our base, even when they had aegis.

Managed to hold off mega-creeps for the next 90 minutes or more, everyone became ridiculously well farmed, 6 slotted, buy-back gold x 3, multiple Divine Rapiers left abandoned because nobody had any room for them. Basically their Techies were useless here and they didn't have enough to take us 4v5 in our base.

We eventually (...) lost the game as we had to try to fight 3v5 to destroy their base - tbh it's only because we made an effort to try to end the statemate, it could have gone on for many more hours.

The consolation was we managed to bore them as thoroughly as their Techies pick bored us. This hero needs to be consigned to some special game mode and removed from all pick completely.

I think that a Special Game Mode for Techies is a good idea, Sando.

The Juggs on the other team ran over one too many mines so he RQ at 10 mins, even though the game seemed pretty even.
EZ win but it was a little disappointing. Haters gonna Hate.

76% win rate on techies. I am a despicable human being.

The game with techies is that you only take the crucial pickoffs.
If that monster triple kill comes up on thier banner they are gonna buy a gem and rekt you.
Just pretent you are one big fool with idiotic 50 IQ. Nuke em a little let someone else take the kill. Stasis them down let someone else finish em up. And when they concentrate on that ertain other hero.

Nuke the frikkers down.

AFAIK secret has won twice with techies. So hes viable, i'd say.
