I have a lot of 55 minute games, but nothing over 1hr 20 :( and that one was ruined by an early abandon too.

Holy **** I hate Tinker. I actually had a rapier in the bank that game in case **** went really bad but was too scared of Tinker to actually use it.

Game could have been over so much sooner if any of you would have gotten hex against the ember.

he had BKB :( and i think he had a skadi as well ... he actually had 3 divines. we killed him at the very end and he bought back and spirited to the place where he died and picked up two but the third was left on the ground :P.

he had BKB for most of the game and was a pretty crazy good player. but yea hex would have been good :)

It was actually the first game I swapped Shadow Blade with Blink Dagger after I got 6-slotted because we had Techies and Pudge had gem and it worked much, much better than I was expecting it would be in theory. After all, that 150 damage is quite negligible after minute 50-55, but abitily to blink in, use abyssal on some **********er(read:ember) and just crit him to death is so huuuuuge(bonus point for killing the hero who defends a lane with X+BoT+Blink+Abyssal).

Also allows some "next gen rat dota"(c)Wulfstan. All for the low-low(especially when you walk around with 12k gold in your pocket) price of 2250 gold. Will definetly get more of these blue knives in combination with Very Evil Sword of Very Dark Lord aka Abyssal in future.

btw finally got 2k on my kill and ***it gems.

so its not really a counter...

its a situational counter.

Well both items are instant, so generally the one with the hex should be first, since they have the element of suprise.

And even if they have vision, a lot of hex heroes get a blink, if a hero holding a BKB spots that hero they have to move out of the combined blink+hex range, or use BKB. And if they use bkb the opponent can just not blink and wait 10-5 sec.
Sure a hex wont work on a BKB hero who jumps in, but there is almost always a good hex target i a fight, even if it isnt their carry.

Euls DEFINITELY doesn't counter Invoker.
