How OP is Euls?

There has been many people in this forum recommending and even said Euls is OP.

Well I guess it could make sense, heaps of mana, movement speed, and oh boy the active.

Purges buffs from enemies or debuffs from you, setting up unreliable stuns, purge self and give a moment to think, and it even disables blink dagger AFTER landing.

To not mention the price as well.

How OP is it?

but i feel it has a time window on certain heroes.

other heroes its core.....

on others i dunno i feel either get it by a certain time or not at all.

Yeah good example for a hero that gets it early or not at all is DP. She needs it midgame, because that's when her lvl 2/3 ult will rip through heroes, but doesn't have enough survivability yet.

On almost any support you can get it at any point. The utility and mana regen alone are reason enough.

On SF o_O

I would say it's not the best choice on SF, but ok. It makes farming easier due to the movespeed + mana regen, but in fights you would want to be right-clicking on a full soul stack to get dat dps in. Against some lineups it can be even stronger than a BKB, so on SF I would say it's highly situational.

You could euls a guy on their team who has a stun and then ult to not get your ukt cancelled. Would only work on smallish groups/****py drafts though(Otherwise they would have more than one stun/silence)

What I find OP about Euls is the fact that it's a free dispel/invulnerability active with infinite charges. Essentially you can buy this item on any caster hero and it literally shuts down any attempt to control you in fights with silences and/or by focusing you first.

Just look at caster heroes like Invoker, Jakiro, Zeus, Puck, Bane, Skywrath Mage, Rubick, Earthshaker, etc. These heroes are huge threats in teamfights. Besides buying mass BKBs, there is essentially only one way to control these heroes in a teamfight : initiate on them with silences or stuns at the beginning of the fight. But then they can just Euls themselves to dodge the stun and purge the silence, so in fact there is absolutely zero way to CC them and focus them down before they use their spells, besides overpriced late game stuff like Blink Dagger + Scythe of Vyse/ Abyssal Blade.

Suggested nerfs :

- Euls no longer applies a dispel when cast on yourself, it only dispels when cast on enemies

- When cast on yourself, Euls disables your own Blink Dagger upon landing
(right now blink-Euls turns anybody into Puck, it's just so stupid)

And even then it would still be a really strong item.

(On SF it's essentially a ganking build, Euls a guy to set up your ulti...still think shadow blade is better for ganking with SF if what you want is to just ult a guy without getting stunned xD)

@ Smuggels : Euls is really strong at any point in the game. For example on DP I absolutely hate rushing Euls, I think it's a complete waste to rush an item that gives no HP, but just after a soul booster, a vit booster or something, it's really good. The invulnerability isn't that good early game because you die to burst, but as the game progresses it becomes really insane.

Eul's + Phase Shift + Blink Dagger + Illusory orb = fast getaways.

Before 6.82: "Mehmehmeh hello, Invoker, Lina, bye, **** item"
After 6.82: "Oh MY ****inG xXxxGODxxXx so br000ken 420tem OP FIX"

Too much hype, for almost 3k it gives maybe a bit more it should, but hey, so does Blink Dagger... and Shadow Blade.

did you just put Blink Dagger and Shadow Blade in the same sentence .....

ok so the dispel is what i love about the item... it works i feel with it... u dont really have another item that works like it does.

maybe BKB but :P

i feel its a 3 second BKB for about 1000 ish gold less.

but heres why it isnt OP and what would make it OP/broken/bought on all heroes all the time

and its super simple.

why it isnt op?.... you cant target allies.
