Bloodseeker get dem easy kills. Huskar also good. You've gotta be quick with the heals and the Armlet in intense situations though.

Invoker is absolutely dominating in pubs if you know how to play him. 2-1-6 can kill about anybody once you get Eul's Scepter of Divinity .
The laning presence is really strong with high dmg from Exort and HP regen from Quas (2 Quas almost give you permanent Tango ) and once you hit midgame you will absolutely rek everything untill someone gets bkb, but when his whole team is dead you can just right-click that one down.

Shadow Fiend has one of the best early through late game presences. Unfortunately he has a very high skill cap, so if you are not good at judging distance and last hitting, don't play him.

Riki is a very good hero, but only when played the right way.

Also very hard countered by blademail and Gem of True Sight.

2.Get Shadow Blade and dagon
3.Go nc until you have 100 hp
4.Find lone enemy hero, use Shadow Blade before approach him
5. Sunder and dagon on his face

People like Sven are always good. Good cleave, a AoE stun and can be great late game with good item build. :)

Really it depends what role you fancy taking but I assume it's a carry which is mid game based with good ganking possibilities?

Centaurs another good shout.

Also silencer if you're lucky with early kills
