You ever had that game when it wasn't going bad, and then something out of your control happens and your entire game is lost in a few minutes? Had that happen to me just a few minutes.

I had just gotten down the top Tier 2 tower, when my internet cuts out. I thought "No problem, it'll come on in a few seconds". It didn't it took ~7 minutes to come back up. I log back in and then... Spirit Breaker has sold all of my items. As soon as I log back into the match, "Rosh has fallen, and the dire done the deed". I was ready to start breaking things, and I will forever curse the name of Spirit Breaker (may he burn in low priority).

So the question is, what was your biggest "why is this happening to me?" moment?

happend with me too a couple of times bt u cant blame anyone for this once ppl see u have abandoned after 5 min counter runs out ...anyone will try to get that little gold advantage by selling ur items...but its the worst experience for the player who connects back...u r nothing but a juicy mega creep for enemy team

I blinked into the middle of the enemy team once and pressed 'r', a blue/purple circle hovering over all 5 of the enemy, 5 man Black Hole confirmed.

Disconnect.

I've never been so upset.

But the thing is, I was playing with friends and they knew I was coming back. They Told Spirit Breaker that I was coming back. And it was Spirit Breaker anyway. What's he gonna do with 1000 gold in the lategame?

Same happened to me as Abaddon just few days ago: godlike streak, early SnY, all the ****, smelling ez victory and them BAM! internet was cut off, I come back, see all my items being sold and an abandon counted, see how I turned from the most useful and fearsome hero in the team to the most useless one, and dc of course, do they expect me to play without items at minute 22?

Anfter that 7 games in low prio - the worst experience I ever had. Players there are ain't no people, they truly deserve their place, these games were just hoorible, I gave up, and went "ok, just lemme pick jungle Nature's Prophet, mute veryone, and farm, farm, farm until it ends". Whatever you may thing about russian low-prio, compared to EU West low-prio it's just heaven to be, trust me, I've been in both.

Then I'm like okay, let me shake this off with normal games, even my regular teammates can't be worse than LP scum, FINALLY got a good supp, predicted a nice game, and then...

BAM! THIS ****ING INTERNET AGAIN ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Nobody sold my items, yet I was heavily underfarmed. Whatever, went to jungle, farmed some creeps and kicked ***, scoring an ultra-kill and finishing with second HD and GPM, and top k+a count in the game despite being dc for so long.

Yet it counted me an abandon, and sent me to LP again, and then I'm like, **** you Dota 2, **** you Gabe, and **** my Internet provider(and whole his family), and then I uninstalled. Seriously.

Happens. 2 of my 3 existing abandons were actually from disconnects. The only time I really ragequitted was a wd game when I just was fed up with the stupidity.
Since long time DCs shouldn't be the most frequent event for the normal user I think just dealing with the couple of times it happens is the way to go about it.

i went though a period where my interent was so **** it was like playing a stop motion game seriously 1000 ping every 3 seconds wtf.

I think if i am not wrong, the game auto sells the items after a set amount of time and distributes it to teammates. I think the timer is 5 or 6 mins for autosell.
Dont know for sure but has happened to me on both ends. once i DCd and game did it auto, saw it in a replay. And once it happened when i trolled and 4 frnds left me and i auto received gold without selling items, the game sold it and gave gold to me.
