Dumb Question S02EP07: Fury Swipes, Vendetta, and crit

So here's a situation:

Nyx Assassin uses Vendetta, deals 550 damage on attack
He has a crit item
His attack damage is 150
He attacks!

Hipothesis A:
Deals 550 damage
Deals 150 damage crit to 300 damage(200%)
Deals a total of: 550+300 damage

Hipothesis B:
Deals 550+150 damage
Vendetta damage adds attack damage
Crit 200% to: 700*2 into 1400


Next,

Ursa's Fury Swipes stacks 10 times, equals 30*10 damage on attack
His attack damage is 100
He has crit
He attacks!

Hippothesis A:

Fury Swipes deals separate damage of 300
Attack damage crits 2x to 200
Deals a total damage of 300+200

Hipothesis B:

Fury Swipes damage is combined with attack damage (100+300)
Attack crits 2x to 400*2= 800
He deals 800 damage

So my question is, do bonus physical damage from abilities stacks with attack damage itself?

Since this is a hard question i assume, i make up 4 scenarios for you guys to ponder. Crit are the easiest way to test this out, although my last test was not of great success

It's hypothesis A in both cases.

All these things, like Vendetta, Fury Swipes, but also Shadow Blade, Shadow Walk, Meld etc, are *separate* instances of damage, and they cannot crit.

You only crit on your actual attack damage, the one you see in your stats.

No, Daedalus Nyx Assassin doesn't work :)

Daedalus on Ursa is pretty good though, but just because Ursa has tons of attack speed so he benefits from damage items a lot - Fury Swipes won't crit.

And why do people kept buying Shadow Blade on Kunkka?

People buy Shadow Blade on Kunkka mainly because it gives +150 damage on his cleave. It's also a good ganking item in general, so it fits him pretty well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but for me Searing Arrows CAN crit, because the damage is actually added to Clinkz's attack damage, it's not a separate damage instance.

Shadow Blade on Kunkka has nothing to do with crits. It's because 1) Shadow Blade is a good initiation item that allows Kunkka to get in position to land a good Tidebringer hit, and 2) because the +150 bonus damage from Shadow Blade *cleaves* with Tidebringer. Essentially it's all about the +150 cleaving damage. It has no synergy with Daedalus.
Blink Dagger Kunkka is pretty legit too so Shadow Blade is not core, it's just a good synergy.

So bonus question... Can Mana Break crits?

No, again, it's a seperate instance of Damage.

Nope. However it CAN lifesteal if you have Vladmir's Offering.
