Who is the Grand Poobah of 1 VS. 1 Mode?

Had a similar game against a Lion. Picked up Razor against him, bought Blade Mail, poor guy didn't even stand a chance.

I don't get it, what Vengeful Spirit jokes?

Anyway, I would say that Crystal Maiden with a Black King Bar and Freezing Field will work 1v1 but I feel people won't take me seriously. So... Lina it is! Early game she has pretty good 1v1 once she hits level 6, and hopefully at this point not a Blade Mail in sight.

hahaha but in all honesty.

heroes with the 3x factor usually make the mid lane "Ezgg wp noob"

1). High lvl 2-4 burst
2). not mana dependent
3). decent hp from lvl 4 onwards (accepting maybe 1 core item)

Skywrath Mage bloody annoying but he only hits number 1 and maybe 2 but he doesnt have 3

Viper has 2 and 3 but requires lvl 6 to start doing serious damage and honestly it isnt burst damage.

Lina only has 1 but jesus Does she have ONE lol gg blademail ftw




best mid in a 1v1 situation that i have never won against is Razor

- lvl 4 high damage nuke and zoning tool with Plasma Field
- Static Link another zoning tool and Daaaamnnnnn dat damage.
- lvl 4 onwards once he has mek he is quite tanky and he isnt mana dependent.

I'm surprised no one has said either Meepo or Lone Druid. I mean sure Razor has practically a free rapier but try going up against a Lone Druid who harasses with bear whilst last hiting? never done it personally but it won't be an easy win either. And against Meepo he can harass/last hit at lvl 3. Just some food for thought.

razor/viper/OD/silencer/bane is what I would pick if I wanted to win. Usually I go puck since I haven't started taking that mode way too seriously yet

OD is very situational, and since you can't see the opponents pick it's best to avoid him.

well he flat out crushes everyone apart from razor and druid. and is even with viper, if not better.

Bane.

Enfeeble absolutely crushes 1 vs 1. Even against Razor, you should never have much damage stolen. 315 base move speed and Nightmare make breaking the link easy. Level 6 you have Fiend's grip with a level 3 brain sap, basically free kill.

Bane is king of 1v2
Nightmare one guy, fiend's grip the other. Finish the second off, enfeeble the first, then brain sap to heal/kill.

But if you pick him and your opponent happens to choose Dazzle, Jakiro, or Dark Seer, then your ult becomes literally worthless and you have to tank them down which means tower dives and other situations that aren't very good for OD to get in.
