The "Best" Luna Game Ever,

Hello everyone, I would like to show to you, the most amazing, superb, fantastical game you will ever watch. Best game here!

If you have watched and think I am being serious about this being the best match well I'd like to inform you otherwise. This was the most embarrassing match I have ever played.
I used my ult twice randomly in the middle of nowhere.
I got 3 kills total.
I got 12 deaths.
I got 12 fails.

My freaking Luna winrate is 18%.... WTTTFFFFF.

I seriosuly am having a mental breakdown right now, help gelp gekp ghelp help.

If anybody, I don't care who, wants to play support with me as a Luna carry just so I can try to improve ple***sssseeeee step up.

Or you can just laugh at this dotbuff stat screen, that works too I guess.

Luna is too squishy for carries like Phantom Assassin and Troll Warlord. She can't actually man-fight them for about 30 minutes, and later it might be even worse (depends on farm, disables). 1 Stifling Dagger with Coup de Grace proc in the early game and Luna is almost dead. In this game you didn't have supports to protect your ***, so Luna and Pugna (probably you went to the safe lane) weren't good picks.

Riki got 20-4 stats and he had 431 GPM? Bloody hell...

I watched your game quickly.

Your items were fine, although I'd have considered Ghost Scepter in this game. ghost + ult against a team with only right-clickers is pretty legit.

Why did you lose? No supports = GG. It's that simple. No wards = you get easily ganked by the enemy mid (you were doing a dual offlane without even a single ward to avoid ganks). No dust = Riki can do whatever the hell he wants (Pudge got a gem in the end but I'm not seeing many dusts in inventories). I see that Pugna kind of tried to support but it wasn't enough. Don't pick Luna if you don't have a support, or play Luna solo mid.

You played a whole game almost without a single Observer Ward. I'm sorry for you but you're stuck in that potato tier where people pick 5 carries and still don't know that wards exist. I've been there not that long ago so I know what it's like. Against this there's only one way out : there's no way you can win without wards so buy wards yourself as Luna. Luna has no escape mechanism so her only escape is good warding.

Yeah, this is the reason I rarely ever pick carries and always support, because not many people do it. I really like Luna, as she is the only carry I can play (although it might not seem that way) the Pugna was one of my friends on Steam, although he was getting really annoyed that match haha, I maybe could point him in the direction of a different/better support and help him with when and where to place wards.

Yeah, we didn't have any supports, I suppose I need to step up to the plate in this regard. Riki had about 84 lasts hits at the end of the game and I was sitting around the 100 mark, everyone this game had really low GPM. It's nice to deviate from supports sometimes but maybe I need to stick to my guns.

Personally, I can never use Luna. Her range is short so she does get harrassed a bit early game and her health is just low enough that it might lead to first blood.

As Hamstertamer said, Ghost Scepter might have been a good idea. Since you built a Drum of Endurance, you shouldn't have built Helm of the Dominator and you should have gotten a BKB before building your Yasha. If you go Drum, it's because you don't have the time and/or space to Farm or you're going for an early victory, hence Helm becomes pretty useless. If you go Drum, your next Item should be either Ghost Scepter or Black King Bar (or maybe Yasha if you fought early, won hard, but can't quite take the high-ground yet).
