Ranked or Pub?

Main differences I've noticed is unranked gets a lot more parties and there are more people messing around, trying new buids, experimenting, etc.

So I play about 99% ranked. Yes tryhard.

Most lobbys made with people from a brasilian portal. We play like 2-4 games every they and all the tem people are from there.

Should we make a guild for Dotafire members so we can play lobby matches together? :D

I think you have to add Hades as a friend to get invited to the guild, joining the steam group might be enough though.

Who would want Hades on their friends list anyway? 8{3

When I just really feel like playing a hero I'll go into a pub and instapick him just for fun. When I feel like have a real game of Dota then I go ranked. As a whole it's a lot more organized and people at least have a sense of what they're doing.

However, I did play with a Doom today who got pissed when we asked him to come out of the jungle to help defend a tower, and literally farmed the jungle the rest of the game. Even when they were taking rax, he was hanging out in the jungle. These are the kind of people who ruin ranked matches.

But does it beat having to fight your Warlock lane partner for last hits as a Meepo in pubs? Ehhh, good question.

I think any of the leaders or officers can add you to the guild - even me! However I'm off with the missus this weekend so won't be around until early next week..

Whoever wants to join the guild, just add me. I can invite all of you into it.
