Varkoth the GazerHero Introduction Varkoth is a hero that depends a lot on preparation at lower level (since the inbound skill has 45 seconds cool down), similar to Earth Spirit, but as he levels up his Far Sight skill he will depend more on quick prediction and analytical acuity. This hero is not so easy, but it all pays off because he is created with a purpose of being a global support anytime in the game, easily overturning laning phase because of continuous presence without even being in need of sucking the lane's exp. This hero is designed to have one of the highest int (and thus lower str and agi), and will be very squishy. However, since he doesn't really need to be in the fight location it is still alright for him. This hero is meant to scale well into late game (because of universal damage that goes through immunity and the int multiplier), but is pretty hard to use in early game because he cannot really survive a well coordinated gank. This hero is one of a kind support that will grow stronger as the game progress even if he doesn't have any level/gold advantage (thus completing his role of support) due to high int growth. This hero's concept is "the watcher of universe", and this is quite a lot of how I want him to feel like. All images in this idea is not made by me and is courtesy to original owner. Statistics Faction: The Radiant Primary Attribute: Intelligent Attack Type: Range Roles: Support, Nuker, Disabler Str: 57 at 25 (14 + 1.8/level) Agi: 51 at 25 (13+ 1.6/level) Int: 120 at 25 (33 + 3.6/level) Health: 1233 at 25 MP: 1456 at 25 Armor: 9 (1.7 base armor + 7.3) at 25 Movement: 330 Range: 650 Lore The Looms first created, the Titans improve and the Weavers weave, but none of the legends has ever understood one celestial being with the name of Varkoth. Though spoken in many, none has truly known the existence of The Gazer, a being enigmatic even to the oldest creations. Some may say that he is the sole creator of the universe' creator -the true God- but he knows he is not. Varkoth never had any memories of his first days, or any other days in his life as a matter of fact. However, not a single day has passed in the whole multiverses without him knowing. Varkoth was a being from plane unknown, gazing through every single star in a single moment. He is the one who watches and the one who understands everything. Legends said that he is the one who holds the stars at the palm of his hands, the one who controls how the stars moves and the one who puts an end to dying stars. He is all of those, and he is more. He has witnessed many points of lights growing brighter and seemingly conscious, he has seen many stars burst into nothingness, and he has known of this day since long past-the day of the moon break. It has happened once eons ago, and Varkoth is seemingly the only one who understood what would happen from this event, a tragedy that drags all powers from every single plane and leave nothing in its wake. He reminisces for a moment of the only memory he keep, regretting his decision of keeping silent in the first moon break and letting repercussions of forces to destroy many of the universes. Then he made up his revolves, letting go of his once infinite power to be finite, travelling into the material world simply to put an end of the Great War. Bringing the force of the whole multiverses with him—albeit no less than a speck of his original power— he comes in a layer of dark matter, as thick as the canvas of universe itself and with him the earth grows dark for weeks straight, telling the whole earth about the coming of Varkoth the Gazer. The secondary effects of his skills don't bypass magic immunity (except Nebular Wave), but the damage always do, so the nukes are somewhat efficient even at late game. Stellar's ultimate, Red Giant, improves the speed he can throw his combo, but at a cost. Lore:Stellar was born from the death of star: an endless cycle that creates new celestial objects. But Stellar was no simple star: it has its own life force, it can move around by its own, travelling across the space. The formless life assumed a humanoid shape after meeting with some members of the Keen people. After the meeting, Stellar got its title as "The Guardian Star", swearing to protect all life forces in the Universe. Skills[Q] - Star [R]ainTarget Point - Enemies - Universal Fires a rain of stars over an area, dealing damage and slowing units. The star causes minor burn damage over time. Range: 775 Radius: 400 Damage: 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 Burn Damage: 10 / 15 / 20 / 30 Burn / Slow Duration: 3 Movement Speed Slow: 15% Mana Cost: 100 / 135 / 170 / 205 Cooldown: 12 Stellar can summons his own life force to deal with anyone who crosses its path. - Damage + Burn Damage: 130 / 195 / 260 / 340. - Only the slow is blocked by Magic Immunity. - Cooldown during Red Giant form: 9 / 6 / 3. [W] - Gravity [V]ortexTarget Point - Enemies - Universal Creates a gravitational vortex that pulls nearby units to its center. The pulling interrupts channeling and deals minor damage. Range: 750 Radius: 220 / 280 / 340 / 400 Damage: 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 Mana Cost: 110 / 130 / 150 / 170 Cooldown: 18 No one can escape the gravity. Notes
- Damage is still applied to magic immune units inside the radius. - Drags units over 0.4 seconds. - Destroy trees in its area. - Cooldown during Red Giant form: 13,5 / 9 / 4,5. [E] - Nebular [W]aveTarget Point - Enemies - Universal Conjures a concentrated nebular wave, dealing damage and pushing units that collides with it. Range: 725 Radius: 250 Knockback Duration: 0.75 / 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 Damage: 75 / 150 / 225 / 300 Mana Cost: 145 Cooldown: 18 We are all made of dust from the stars. Notes
- The knockback effect is not blocked by magic immunity. - Destroy trees where units are pushed. - Cooldown during Red Giant form: 13,5 / 9 / 4,5. [R] - R[e]d GiantNo Target - Self Stellar overheats its body, entering in the Red Giant form. During this form, Stellar has lower cooldowns, higher movement speed and bonus strength. The overheat, however, makes him take extra damage from all sources, and reduced health and mana regeneration. Duration: 24 Bonus Strength: 12 / 16 / 20 Cooldown Reduction: 25% / 50% / 75% Reduced Regen: 20% / 25% / 30% Bonus Movement Speed: 25% / 30% / 35% Extra Damage Taken: 26% / 32% / 38% Mana Cost: 100 / 125 / 150 Cooldown: 100 The overheat can be of great benefit, but can leave Stellar seriously hurt. Notes
- The bonus strength and movement speed bonus is applied to illusions created during this form. - Stellar collision box and size increases by 20%, and its body glow is red instead of yellow/blue. - The extra damage its taken as physical (50%)/magical (50%) damage after the transformation ends. - The transformation takes 0.3 seconds to happen: Stellar is invulnerable during the transformation. |

Ira, the Raging Star
"They say a star is a symbol of tranquility. WRONG! WE ARE BEINGS OF RAGING POWER!" LORE On a fateful night, in the Nightsilver Woods, the worshippers of Selemene is readying for a festival. The festival was held once a year and is filled with prayers and joy. It was lead by the princess Mirana herself, praising the night in every way. The moon and stars are symbols of peace, beauty, and tranquility. That night, the priestesses pray to the moon, asking for her to come and blessed them. The stars flickers, hearing the prayers. The prays of the worshippers had sickening the stars for hundreds of years. The praise, and festival, and the joy. One star, Ira, decides to take on the next level. Though the moon cannot go to the mortal plane, the stars could, and ask to come in the moon's place. Joyous, the worshippers saw a sphere of white light, and the room is so bright. It looks beautiful, but then, the sphere turns red, and exploded with raging power. The temple was burnt, and many died that night. The star escapes and wreaks havoc to nearby villages. But most importantly, he hunt those who praise his kind for their 'tranquil' nature, to show the true nature of a Raging Star. Non-mainstream idea: Many people praise the star, especially for its 'beauty'. However, according to science, it has been found that the sun is a sphere of raging energy. So if you can avoid mainstream thinking, why not? DIRE INTELLIGENCE, RANGED Role: Nuker, Support, Lane Support (Maybe?) If the target is standing on Mark of a Star, this spell can be casted globally. Global range does not apply during the night. Range: 800 DoT: 20/20/30/30 Magic damage amplify: 14/19/24/29% Duration: 8 Cooldown: 16 Mana cost: 135 (If the mark belonged to an enemy(ex:rubick), the global range does not apply) "Warriors fighting Ira knows that when they feel a sudden heat they are sure to be hit by a powerful spell" (3) Mark of a Star Type: Target area GLOBAL Marks a targeted area with the sun, giving it vision. The radius and duration is halved during the night. Radius: 500/550/600/650 Duration: 45 Cooldown: 20/19/18/17 Mana cost: 140/125/110/95 (If there is a marked area when the day-night cycle changes, the vision given will still change, but duration will not. The mark cannot be seen by enemies) "Ira calls upon his star friends to give him vision of his hunt" (4) Heat Wave Type: No target (enemy) Damage: Magical GLOBAL Starts a heat wave, damaging all enemy units in the map. If the target is on Mark of a Star, doubles the damage. Stops the clock and forces it to be daytime. (Causes the screen to be orange and a little blurry for the enemies) Damage: 15/20/25 Duration: 20/25/30 Cooldown:90/70/50 Mana cost: 100/150/200 (Will dispels Night Stalker's 'Darkness' and/or Luna's 'Eclipse', but will also be dispelled by 'Darkness' and 'Eclipse') SCEPTER UPGRADE: Reduces cooldown to 40, and Periodically gives vision of all damaged units every 10/10/15 seconds. "Ira means 'The heat of battle' literally" Ira (Rage; latin)is a nuker/support hero adept at assisting from global range. If he lands his mark on the battlefield, he can support even from the fountain. He can nuke targets from any place he is right now, he can gives vision of any place, like runes and towers, he can gaze enemies and amplifying magical damage, and he can damage teamfights with his ulti. His global capabilities makes him an assist in roaming ganks, even without him going there. However, his utility is best on ganking, as 2 of his target unit spells have long cooldown and cant be spammed on teamfights, his Mark allows global Gaze and doubles Heat Wave damage. With Heat Wave forcing the time to day, he doesnt need to worry about nightime, though if there is Luna or Night Stalker on the enemy team, time your Heat Wave carefully. His damage might lost utility in the late game, but can still assist by amplifying damage and giving vision, especially if he gets scepter. This is my hero idea for this contest, based on the scientific view of a star. I hope this still matches the theme, because this is, I admit, kind of weird. Thank you for your time, and have a good game. Also, in case you didnt notice, his vision is 200 units farther than regular hero (both day and night)

Melthas, the Dark CoreDire Intelligence Lore: Before the begining of time, the Universe was empty. Then, the first star sprung. A beautiful bright flash, and the first ray of light appeared. The stars started populating the Universe, but, as every being in the world, some die. Death of a star can occur from a couple of instances, it being too old, it's light giving out, or being devoured, by a black hole, created by an enigmatic being, that was here before light. Now, when a star dies, it goes into this strange state of transformation. Getting overflown with power, until it explodes in a bright flash. This was not the case of the star that gave birth to Melthas. The start that went into a nova left an enigmatic being after it's death, one that does not radiate brightness like it's previous form, but it's prone to direct the power of a star, manipulating dark powers, and the previous power of the stars, creating a deadly combination.
