DotaFire = Kitchen sales place?

Ok I'll stop commenting my displeasure on each of their posts haha. Why someone would set up bots on Dotafire... I mean gamers like to munch but I don't need an entire kitchen for a bowl of doritos :D

It takes little effort to set yourself up with spam bots on forums, which are the target sites. Any type of forum without signup protection is the pinnacle of easy prey for bots, its free for them, it takes one sale to make a profit, and I would imagine they get a commission. Anytime something is changed to protect the site its an easy work around, ie; spacing out your url, linking in signatures. It could also be a form of trolling from someone displeased with the site or its members, doesn't take much effort to whitelist sites to emails and forums, the modern vengeance plan of action is subscribing someone's email to pornography. When a straight male checks his email in front of people and homosexual ads are filling his inbox it is quiet embarrassing for a lot of them.

It seems to be on a timed rotation too, around midnight and morning my time they tend to pop up. You guys actually don't see most of them since it only takes a second for us to throw them in the archive and we have the target time they hit. Only a matter of logging on at this point. I still think a 4 letter captcha system would be nice, especially since they don't just hit Dotafire but all the Mobafire Network.

I dont know if we can but we really should have a captcha for making any threads. It makes it alot easier for the mods and such. Or have verification when making an account.

That's what we were thinking about, xCO2 suggested it to me, we'll look into it more, captcha sounds good to me.

Well i thnik it's a free community that's why it's a off topic place however it's abit weird to sell a kitchen well you have to be mentally ill.. but yeah it makes me laugh at least :D

in that case I have to suggest something: Is there any way you can make a notification box on this site to show if someone else comments on your thread or on a thread you commented on, its a pain trying to find where I comment. I know this is all based off mobafire, but if you could tell the coding men to put it in, that would be awesome
