Oh yeah, an Aghanim's Scepter and a Refresher Orb can be a really big help in a teamfight, especially if their team is too tanky for you to kill them in one Chronosphere, and you teamfight constantly, and a Mask of Madness is a great item if you're low on farm, so instead of saying the items are banned, say when they would be good.
To me this seems like a horrifically expensive build because whenever I play void I have no other carries on my team and if I am lucky I get MoM and Battle Fury before we lose.
You couldn't have contraddicted yourself more: no carries mean more room for you to farm and early aggression from your supports/ganker to deter enemy teamfights. Getting a BF in ~16:30 minutes, especially if your team has already destroyed a tier 1 tower, is a pretty standard time; adding up a Midas slows it down and, in turn, makes you lose ~5 minutes of quick farm in which you could've got half a BKB or Maelstrom. I myself can get a BF by 16 minutes and a Manta by 25 on Anti-Mage without much effort, if my team can secure me early farm.
About the Mask of Madness build, getting BF after it is plain useless. Midas (optional) + MoM + BKB + either Mjollnir or Daedalus works nice (even though I prefer a Drum of Endurance instead of the MoM because of the extra teamfight capabilities and active ability), but as always you need to have global/AoE ultimates like Thundergod's Wrath or Epicenter to make the most out of it. The Mjollnir does enough AoE damage to let you deal some damage to the other enemies inside the Chronosphere, you shouldn't need more AoE as the Battle Fury isn't that good of a damage item and the other teamfight abilities will deal with the non-carry Heroes.

Never get both Midas an BF, there's no reason to do so. I also think a Black King Bar is mandatory 99% of the time (probably after a Maelstrom so that you can finish your Mjollnir after it) because disables make you really useless. Plus, I always get at least a level of Backtrack before level 6: the evasion might save your life when the enemies come to gank you and it also mitigates a lot of harass damage.
The starting items are definitely too greedy ( Tango, Healing Salve, Stout Shield and two Iron Branches are better; Void's attack damage is huge anyway) and I always get a Poor Man's Shield first for easier last-hitting and some more defense, but the latter is personal preference I guess. Still, you can't expect to survive enemy harass with just a set of Tangos unless you're trilaning and your supports know what they're doing.
I don't know about getting both a Hand of Midasand a Battle Fury, it seems rather greedy to me, as you're spending 6400 Gold on Farming Items. They're both good options on Faceless Void though, Hand of Midas for the faster levels, and Battle Fury for clearing Stacks for faster Gold (plus Crit Cleaving with a Daedalus for easy Chronosphere Teamwipes).
Also, I don't like Aghanim's Scepter on Void either, but the main reason for grabbing it, is that it drops the Cooldown to 60 seconds. So if you're constantly Teamfighting, it can be useful...probably still not worth it though.
