Honestly if the AM buff from last version is the reason hes picked so much than theres something wrong with people. Going from 1.45 to 1.35 isnt even that great, its barley noticable.
O.O pretty much everything was buffed just antimage nerfed, Orchid Malevolence looks a lot more interesting now, hope this will make raijin a bit more popular
I don't really see the point of abyssal blade, skadi or dagon5 are one of the most expensive items in-game and not many people get to build them, 6750 for a 2 seconds disable (even though it goes through bkb) doesn't look too good of a trade.
It's interesting how IceFrog is still using wc3 as the test ground, I wonder how long that will go on for. The new heroes look really interesting. Some of the buffs are going to be interesting. I wonder who will be the next AM.
I really don't know, the only thing I want is for them to come up with their own hero concepts instead of taking the design from blizzard and changing it a bit. Almost all heroes bare striking resemblance to their wc3 counterpart.

Actually it's huge, that is his Base Attack Time, meaning any sort of improvement to his attack speed by a percentage is reduced which will hit him hard.
Also, nobody commenting about the items?
Code:
New Item: Rod of Atos
Requires:
2x Staff of Wizardry (2000)
Vitality Booster (1100)
Total: 3100
Provides:
+25 Intelligence
+250 HP
Cripple (active, target unit)
Slows the target's movement speed by 50% for 4.
Cast Range: 800
Cooldown: 20
Manacost: 50
While the item is out of reach compared to how cheap a Force Staff is, a nuker can easily get their hands on it like Lina who desperately needs the disable late game.
Strength carries just got a wonderful item as well:
Code:
New Item: Heaven's Halberd
Requires:
Sange (2150)
Talisman of Evasion (1800)
Total: 3950
Provides:
+20 Strength
+25 Damage
+25 Evasion
Lesser Maim (passive, same as sange)
Disarm (active)
Removes the target's ability to attack for 4 seconds to ranged targets and 3 seconds to melee targets.
Cooldown: 30
Cast Range: 600
Manacost: 100
Windrunner gets another item crafted specially for her:
Code:
New Item: Ring of Aquila
Requires:
Wraith Band (485)
Ring of Basilius (500)
Total: 985
Provides:
+9 Damage
+3 All Stats
+3 Agility
+1 Armor
+2 Armor Aura
+0.65 Mana Regeneration Aura
Can be Disassembled
Also, I think we will see Cranium Basher a lot more in the future, especially on heroes like Night Stalker and Huskar who really need the disables.
Code:
New Item: Abyssal Blade
Requires:
Sacred Relic (3800, +60 dmg)
Cranium Basher (2950, +40 dmg, +6 str, bash)
Total: 6750
Provides:
+100 Damage
+10 Strength
Bash (passive, same as cranium)
Overwhelm (active)
Overwhelm: Disables a target unit for 2 seconds. Can be cast on magic immune units.
CD: 60 seconds
Manacost: 150
Cast Range: 140
At first I thought IceFrog was finally going to catch onto the large MS over time that HON and LOL have been using for support/gankers, but I guess not. Pretty nice for heroes that constantly feel the troubles of harassment and they are relatively cheap. Most of their ingredients are in the outpost as well. To be honest though, it heals for 150 over 10 seconds, 15 hp/s for 25 mana. That will hurt some of the heroes that would want to keep that 25 mana kind of throwing out a lot of options for some of the earlier game heroes. Though we will see how players make use of this new item.
Code:
Requires:
Boots of Speed (500)
Ring of Protection (175)
Ring of Regeneration (350)
Total: 1025
Provides:
+80 Movement
+3 HP Regen
+3 Armor
Rejuvenate (active)
If you take more than 3 instances of damage (greater than 20) in the past 10 seconds, the item
temporarily breaks and becomes basic boots (until the last 10 seconds don't have 3 instances).
Same damage source rules as Blink Dagger.
Rejuvinate: Restores 150 HP over 10 seconds, non-combat only. Can only be casted on self.
Cooldown: 40
Manacost: 25
Also Linken's Sphere has become ridiculosly better with this patch. It is no longer activated by Urn of Shadows or Medallion of Courage, with an additional +10 damage that it desperately needed. This makes it no longer easily countered and much more viable, the +10 damage is also really nice. A lot of people will write things like that off, but it makes every bit of difference.
Also the Forest Troll in the weak camp that heals now gives a +2 base mana regeneration aura, so I think that you will see more of them being controlled in the future. There was also a buff to Mjolnir which now chains up to 8 times, where as the old one only did up to 4.
I don't think her squishiness is in question. Once Drow gets Shadow aka Lothar, she is in my opinion the best character in the game. With an amazing slow that can be used all game, a silence which for any successful team disables are needed, with one of the most overpowered auras in the game, with a HUGE agility stat boost per ultimate level and mixing that all with the computability of an escape method such as Lothar. Not forgetting the fact that she doesn't need to get super fed early like ANTI-MAGE needs to. She only really needs anything that boosts her agility (Treads + Wraith Bands), an escape method + EVEN MORE DAMAGE (Lothar) and then you throw in some more survival + agility + damage (BFLY).
Anti-mage has numerous item builds, but I think going tanky is better. I don't think BFURY is the way to go because you don't need mana regen. It's much easier going Vanguard Vlad S&Y then BFLY OR Heaven's Halberd as it seems to be one of the best items in the game for any agility carry. Which like said before take a lot of kills to farm.
