A mature yet mischievous lady, Futatsuiwa Mamizou is the boss of the Tanukis. While she prefers using her small-fry minions as a way of attacking indirectly, she's more dangerous by herself. Able to use her illusory transformations to many uses.
Her_Trickster's Insight makes her aware of an enemy's schemes, getting critical hits all while breaking the target's passives and making her immune to its targeted abilities. It's really strong hindered only by its low cast range.
Thankfully, she can close the gap with her planned_Tomfooleries, or "would she?" the foes may ask. It could might as well be just her illusions. You see, they can't know if the one who blinked in front of them was an illusion or if it's the real Mamizou pretending to be one, unless it's too late! In light of danger, not only is the blink a reliable escape in itself, but her opponents will be split between her and her decoy, compounded further that the disguise acts like a temporary health shield too!
Her deftness reaches out to any creatures around her, aspiring them to dodge attacks and retaliate the way she does it.
Speaking of aspiring, anyone can join her tanuki squad! But you have to be a tanuki first! You have to get close, of course, for_Futatsuiwa's Curse.
PROS :
Strong 1 vs 1 potential.
Even without ultimate, her evasion, break, and spell-block leaves little room for retaliation.
Confuses enemies through Tomfoolery. Which is also a 2 spells in one.
Up to 8 seconds hex!?
CONS :
Owns not a single damage burst.
Ultimate is hard to land, thanks to its melee range, long cast point, and being a non-targeted skillshot.
Enemies can just walk away. Even under hex, which is among the fastest hex units.
Relatively bad health pool for a hero who'll need to get close.
[Q] Trickster's Insight
Mamizou studies her opponent, allowing her to see right through their schemes. Breaks passives, and makes them more vulnerable to Mamizou's attacks, resulting in critical hits. She also gains spell-block against all targeted spells of the debuffed unit.

Can block as many targeted spells as possible. However...
Debuffed enemy can still target spells on any units other than Mamizou just fine.
Any other enemy units without the debuff can still target Mamizou just fine.
AoE affects units in the fog of war, but not invisible units.
[W] Tomfoolery
Dual Point Target. Mamizou teleports to the first target point, and at the same time summons an illusion on the second target point. Mamizou will also act just like her illusion, taking more damage and doing less damage. If either the illusion or her transformation dies, the trick ends, killing the illusion and reverting her back to normal.

The cast animation is direction neutral, meaning players wouldn't be able to tell her blink direction from the animation.
Casting spells, and using items prematurely ends the trick. (casting_Futatsuiwa's Curse does not end the trick)
When the trick ends, the illusion dies and Mamizou reverts to normal. Her HP is the same as before she transformed.
Casting the spell while trick is still going ends the previous cast. The new cast will use Mamizou's hidden HP, and not her transformation's HP, as the new transformation's HP.
Thundergod's Wrath, Mystic Flare, and other spells that only affect heroes and not illusions will still hit Mamizou's transformation.
Disjoints projectiles.
BONUS: Mamizou performs a simple wind-up animation when the player is under the "target 2 points UI". Telegraphing the player's intent.

NOTES :
If she can't use items nor target anyone with spells but still needs her damage output back to 100%.
[e] Frolic Aura
Nearby allied heroes have increased evasion, Mamizou have a much higher bonus. Whenever it procs, the unit gets bonus damage for their next attack.
Still entirely depends on Mamizou's own mana pool and not the illusion's. Illusions still pay mana to look like they cast it (can still cast without mana, as long as the real Mamizou have mana)
Trickster's Insight is a powerful spell that does not allow for enemy retaliation. However, it has pathetic cast range and cannot really stop the target from running away. This means that she is still forced to chase them, risking herself to a bad spot. The biggest effect you might notice would be the indefinite spell-block against the target, acting almost as a silence. But if you've read the notes, even this effect alone has counter-plays.
Tomfoolery is the spell that Mamizou will be known for. And as a simple as this spell seems to be, it has some surprising complexity and large utility. The blink component can be used as escape, gap-closer, and disjoint. It's also a risk free scouting tool with the summon. And most of all, transforming into an illusion actually increases her effective HP, allowing her to tank a little more damage! Confusing enemies isn't even here!
Her LvL 20 talent, "llusions spawn at full health", is a situational talent aimed at Tomfoolery becoming an even more potent escape ability. As it applies to her disguise to still tank significant damage even when cast on low health. This also applies, even more situationally, to other heroes/items that can create an illusion of her (like illusion runes, Shadow Demon, or Manta Style).
Frolic Aura is a simple evasion aura that doesn't need much explanation. Since she's pretty up close when fighting, the evasion will come in handy to make her survive the enemy's attention. As someone who is strong at 1 v 1 scenarios, she is weak in teamfights. This ability allows her to still be useful to the team.
Lastly,_Futatsuiwa's Curse. Despite being the most powerful hex in the game, it is very hard to land. It's a melee cast ranged, 0.6s cast point, non-targeted skill-shot! Also 200 move speed is darn fast for a hexed unit. Add that to her lack of slows. But hey! It pierces Linken's Sphere!
GAMEPLAY :
She is best played as a position 2-3 ganker, and roamer. And for a hero that's relatively squishy and not really durable, Mamizou strangely needs to be up close. Then, even with her powerful single target disables, she could still need help from her allies in slowing down the enemy. Her combo is_Tomfoolery into_Futatsuiwa's Curse into_Trickster's Insight. Take note that since the enemy is already hexed, the spell-block component of Trickster's Insight cannot be utilized. She can cast it on another enemy, so they won't be in the way. But if then you can't utilize the crits.
Mobility spells and items like Blink and Force Staff is her biggest weaknesses. The mere presence of another enemy that can nuke down her already low strength is also one.
Her good agility gain and carry-based talents makes her just as significant in the late game just as she was mid-game. She can start soloing enemies provided she has enough chase potential, damage and/or lockdown through her items.

This is actually great, but we all know greats aren't flawless so let's see.
Q: Q is fairly good in all places, the fact its a crit and not say an evasion is good as well and not a pain in the *** to deal with.
W: IS EFFFING GENIUUUUUUUSSSS It makes my prick rock hard. This is what an illusion needs to be, the ability is on par with Tempest Double in the fact that it is not just a clone that is for extra damage or for soaking damage but it has something else, Tempest Double is for added sustain/damage while Tomfoolery is for overall get bamboozled motif works well with her?(please she IS a girl right?) design because Tanukis I think are mischievous creatures and they like to disguise leafs as other things although they are a sign of good luck I think(she is a good sign for teammates but an omen for the enemy team).
E: Again not a fan of evasion passives although the fact it is not PA levels of cancer is great, just need an extra spice on it an aura evasion is sure great but kind of meh.
R: Now I'm sort of split in this, the fact its a no target and hex is now undispellable is great but there's also a side of me saying "it's just a hex?". I really have no suggestion here it is actually a fairly good skill it just feels incomplete like it's not on its full potential like an ability in its beta phase.
I don't think being simple, as with the case of her aura and ultimate, is a bad thing. Rather, I find it beautiful to have something simple and familiar yet fundamentally unique.
I like her ultimate as it already is, familiar yet unique. But her aura, I admit, was the among the very last thing I made when designing her so I'm not really sure about it too. I just wanted a simple passive that allows her to (1)be a little more useful to teamfights AND/OR (2)tank some damage because she'll need it. And an evasion aura seems to fulfill that. I tried spicing it up, trust me. Among the spices I've thought of are:
Accuracy bonus - Too niche and almost non-existent to many line-ups
Passive component that buffs her own illusions (all illusions, not just her Tomfoolery and self disguise) - Now this has potential... for a different concept. But this spice will make her always buy Manta and if it only works for Tomfoolery illusions, that's too narrow. In the end this idea went to her lvl 15 talent.
An active component - I vetoed this idea the moment I thought of it. Too much actives. Tomfoolery alone gets 3 buttons, no more buttons.
But yeah. The aura is growing in on me so I doubt it's ever going to change now. Thanks for liking it!
What if her E is a passive that makes it so when she hits something it gets a miss chance? Something like 8/16/24/32. I know Broodmother has this but she is a completely different hero, and she is ranged. Make her illusions also inflict it so that she can get a bunch of people debuffed if she wants to. Lasts 6 seconds.
Or you could make it a damage block that works on her illusions too. Less than Kraken Shell but enough to be noticeable. Damage block is multiplied by illusion damage taken.
This is also speculation but I wonder if making R castable 150 units around an illusion would increase the... Tomfoolery.
Also btw I love this hero. Q and W/E/D are genius, R is alright and unique.
Also also I know you're making these in part from a show or anime or something, but seriously fix the names. I see Futatsuiwa and I read Futfweafhaf. Or is it Fufajanteanja?
"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster... when you gaze into the abyss the abyss also gazes into you." - Friedrich Nietzsche
What if her E is a passive that makes it so when she hits something it gets a miss chance?
She'll be too much single target focused that way. Her aura is to make her a little more useful to the team while still maintaining her selfish playstyle. One of her earliest passive ideas was some right click debuff (break + disarm + spell block). But I repurposed it to her Q.
Or you could make it a damage block...
It wouldn't fit her thematically. Sorry.
I wonder if making R castable 150 units around an illusion would increase the... Tomfoolery.
Now you're talking! Massive thank you! I like how it opens up a support's way to cast her ultimate while spreading out the aura too. ( I thought about taking this to the next level, but naah! That'll be Tempest Double.)
I know you're making these in part from a show or anime or something, but seriously fix the names.
I don't think there's anything I can do... That's her name. I even went ahead to avoid naming her abilities like [lore method of casting]: "ACTUAL NAME OF SPELL" from previous times.
