Hi FuriousFish!

Every year or so, Dotafire hosts a major hero creation contest with several rounds called the "Forge of Creation"! This contest is open to the public and there are often immortals and sets as prizes.

These are the 1st place winners of the 6 contests we've had so far.

Unfortunately this years forge of creation already took place but if there is interest they might start another one.
Looking at the recent spark of activity in the hero and item ideas tab this might be a good idea.

FoC was always a very informal contest organized by one of our members that didn't mind having all the trouble to make it happen + offer some prizes.

If we get enough interest for this again we might ask him to do it more, but the last contest was a big disappointment as in most people that were in just didn't give their things on time/didn't want to have the trouble to rate each others ideas. So it's complicated to make sure that doesn't happen again...

It's all about the timing - many of us have jobs/school/etc and can only afford/want to participate during the summer and the like.

Anyway, I was wanting to host a FoC, but Hades said that there would be other exciting community activities coming up so... looking forward to that!
