- When the Tempest Double is killed by a hero while he is holding Divine Rapiers, he now drops Arc Rapiers. Arc rapiers give 322 damage like normal rapiers, but only last for 3 minutes after which they are destroyed. They are also destroyed when the hero holding them dies. If the Tempest Double expires or is killed by a non-hero source, no arc rapiers are dropped.
This doesn't really fix things because Rapira clones are almost never killed(unless you face a 1v1 god with MKB like Usra or Troll) - they just expire most of the time. And even then, 1v1 gods usually can't counterpush so you will still be forced to sit in your base defending your structures while Zet's team farms the map.
Rapier Arc is not only a problem when you're defending but also when fighting - a clone TPs in a fight and can recklessly go even for the toughest or most dangerous enemies since he is impervious to any damage whatsoever unless you have MKB or BKB-piercing disables. And he also deals a ****load of damage. And he has a slow. 50%. 6 seconds. And when if defeat him you'll also have to face a real one with same ******** again(assuming you can go for rax at all after the fight). The only way to win is to either destroy the Ancient 30 mins in or buy a Divine yourself and go for a yolo-push.
Seriously, just make Rapier and Gem muted on the clone and increase ulti cd by ~10s and he's fine. This hero is so good without items that 2 of his skillsets aren't enough do deal with 1 skillset of OD, Invo or Ench.

Give us ideas!! I already told u lot! we are following every theorycrafting forum for hero ideas after pit lord. There will only be a limited hero pool that we can add to preserve the sanctity of balance but why dont you all give us some ideas!
If we nerf rapier arc warden then what we will see is E-blade Dagon arcwarden, no?
Why would you play a watered down version of Tinker?
There are still a lot of legit builds without Rapier, and it wouldn't at all affect the fact that if enemy Zet gets an early Necro(<16 min) and a half-decent team, you're ****ed. This is the way Arc wins most of his games that don't go over 50 mins.

i feel my brain working here....

there is only a "limited" i feel like the group you wish to add a new hero too is somewhat crowded OR it is very small group of heroes.
the group would therefore be something that you can balance or is able to balanced relatively easily yet can still bring something too the game that is fresh and new...
hmmmm....
looking at the clues i feel like the hero added will fall within the support group. though they are crucial anything OP can be reduced tweaked and changed with out it affecting the core gameplay and quite quickly as well. most because supports have early game abilities that dont scale so with some adjustment any OP skills can be quickly changed.
and it will be a strength support. why? there are few strength support but of those few they are a unique and strong group though "limited" in there scope. plus the strength hero support pool is limited so to speak...
thus i conclude a new hero is being propositioned to OSfrog that is a ranged strength support.
