Useless and random facts about this ****ty game

1. Abaddon is wearing the hollowed-out head of a Nyx Assassin as his helmet.Their voice lines also imply that they hate each other.

2. I'm guessing you're familiar with my Ancients conspiracy theory, since I wrote a long *** story about it. For those that aren't:
-The comic 'Are We Heroes Yet?' reveals that the Ancients are a corrupting influence that turns people in their proximity into their creeps. Heroes aren't immune, and while they aren't morphed into creeps they are influenced. Hence the two sides.
-If one Ancient is destroyed, the other will be free to exert its full power. This will probably result in an apocalypse as everything becomes its slave. Perhaps the planet itself will become a larger Ancient? This is supported by numerous references in the backstory of Heroes to this being 'long slow twilight of the world's dying days', or in phrases from voice acting. The presence of apocalyptic forces such as Lone Druid and Outweed Dankvourer also lends credence to this. Worse to come, indeed.

3. The four Fundamentals are actual things from physics!

4. The demons in Dota somewhat reflect the Seven Deadly Sins:
Doom (Pride)
Terrorblade (Wrath)
Shadow Fiend (Gluttony)
Queen of Pain (Lust)
Shadow Demon (Envy/Greed)
We can probably assume Abyssal Underlord is Sloth or Envy.

5. Back in the good old days before the Mad Moon broke and the Ancients fell to earth, the Dotaverse was ruled by one great kingdom and one king, who is referred to in Lycan's backstory as going mad. He was overthrown and/or killed (my headcanon has him being rent asunder by demons summoned to protect him from a revolution, but that's another story. Coincidentally, same as the last one), which seems to have allowed the noble houses of Slom to attain power.

6. There are four classifications of beings in the Dotaverse. In order of power, they are:
Primordials - The gods of the setting. None of these are playable or appear in the hero pool.
Fundamentals - Ancient beings representing the forces of physics. Enigma, Keeper of the Light, Wisp, and Chaos Knight.
Celestials - Stellar creatures with great power. They've come from other worlds for a variety of reasons. Eg Phoenix, Morphling, Ancient Apparition, Doom, Zeus, Outworld Devourer
Planeswalkers - There are I believe nine planes, and creatures that cross these are known as planeswalkers. They are very powerful, and while often confused with celestials are very different in nature. Eg Terrorblade, [{Spirit Breaker]], Spectre, Faceless Void, Weaver
Spirits and Elementals - Beings of power in the world the game is set on. They have a huge range of power, with some able to equal planeswalkers. Eg Invoker, Storm Spirit, Nature's Prophet, Leshrac
Anyone not in one of these categories is pretty much insignificant.
