In my opinion because "our country" is a fictional abstract entity and border created by a multitude of people to serve some social purposes, and your parents are specific living human beings that accompanied you all your life.

Think of it this way: do you love Apple or Adidas? Why shouldn't you?

On the other hand, if you think of "your country" as the people that live in it, and you feel connected to them in a special way, that's not bad at all - unless you start looking at that connection as opposed to other foreign people, whom you treat more badly, because they are not "your people". Ideally you would want to have that human connection to everybody, regardless of their nationality. You can think from the micro to the macro: of course you prefer your family to strangers, and of course you prefer your countrymen to other people, but the same way as you won't mistreat someone just because they're not your family, you shouldn't do it because they're not from your country.

I thought you were spamming Doom for that purpose? ahahah

Im on my wc3 editor earlier. Why cant my custom critical strike proc. Help would be nice. Also on the other hand evasion procs like hell.

For anyone wondering, Im making a city for my fictional world.

Have you got the percentages right? You'll need to input it as .15 for a 15% chance, not 15%. Same goes for evasion. I did that once. It was a bad move.

EDIT: After checking my maps, the above is wrong. Input 25 for a 25% crit chance, and .25 for 25% evasion. Edit the values as you desire.

Alright, apparently I need to check the 'Friend' in allowed targets since I constantly test it on allied units. Thanks anyway.

so what if the celebrity culture was concocted by the royal family's and the massive business family's to take away the public scrutiny of them? or even just to take away any public opinion of them?

like what do i know about the movers and shakers in the Australian geo-political lanscape? or even the people/ family's that have an impact upon how things are run?

For example

i only heard that last week one of the children of what is said to be the 4th richest family in Britain was found to have bought and sold drugs and run a prostitution ring in what is the most prestigious boys school in all of england... the kid is only 15 !! Fifteen !! and now i CANT EVEN FIND THE ARTICLE ANYMORE!!!! its gone from the website it was on. i still have it in my user history BUT NO PAGE EXISTS!!

what was in the papers? stuff about some footballer? maybe a celebrity is shagging another celebrity?

in the 14th, 15th, 16th century the only celebrities were the nobles or rich yet NOW we have a sub set of this that rose within the last century, like a smoke screen.

im not a conspiracy nut this is more amusing on the rise of the celebrity culture and how instead of the public consciousness being focused on people who actually have the power to affect our world it instead seems to revolve around facetious and superficial "Stars" that have no "real" power.

or maybe i just want to read about some billionaire helping fund a rebellion in Sierra Leon or a assassination plot involving the worlds biggest arm manufacturers families!! i dont want to hear about how ditsy blonde "A" shagged ruggedly handsome douche "B"... i want to hear/read/watch REAL power.

and watching politics is just plain boring.
