Yeah, the Secret draft might win the award for greediest draft of the tourney. It was greedier than a lot of pub games I watched.

Like I understand the concept behind the draft, they wanted to push fast and early, but RTZ got killed way to often for that to matter.

I think it's a mixture of things; People have learnt how to out-Secret Secret, and Secret have been a little inconsistent with there drafts lately. Which is odd given they have two of the best drafters in the world.

Since you just can't have enough Chaos Breaker.

Arteezy seemed to be drafting 3rd game, so I dunno.

Nice to see that Drow Ranger pickup, always in favour of more variety. Very balanced game at the moment, could still be turned by one big play, but the draft would seem to be drifting towards VP if it keeps going late...

OH MY GOD DID YOU ALL JUST SEE THAT BEAUTIFUL VACUUM INTO EVERYTHING ELSE?

That might just turn the situation around for secret!
Late game might be a problem though for them, with storm and drow in VP, and S4's not doing that well here.

P.S: Nevermind, Lil's familiar micro is out of this world. He even managed to turn a beautiful vacuum into beautiful echo, not letting S4 using his ult lol

It comes down to execution entirely late game. If either the DS or the ES make the right initiation or counter initiation, then that side is probably winning. Because it's pretty equivalent in terms of scaling on the two teams. Maybe Rubick as well can make the big play

They are looking bleak, all VP need to do now is stretch things out, stack the odds. But Secret just showed they're not out yet.

I think Secret's drafts have just been worked out - people have had time to study their playstyle and figure out how to beat them. Very skilled individual players but their drafts are looking iffy. I don't really understand why they keep letting Storm through without having any proper counters.

They also seem to be drafting for early/midgame but then not really taking advantage. I don't see QoP/SF outcarrying Storm/Drow without a substantial advantage. Don't really understand why Puppey is going on suicide warding missions when you've got a QoP who can get in/out a lot more safely.
