Not if you stack yourself. Get a HotD(which is already preferred on pa. And stack ancients yourself.you can even use shift queue to make it somewhat automated. Just head to the camp every 4-5 min and clear it out for easy gold and xp http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=447109826
4 mins claymore -> 10 mins claymore and perseverance -> 12 mins bf.
if you have it by 12 mins thats a solid time. by 14 is the latest .
in comps and team games its a solid build to go for since you can build a defensive trilane around her and stack like crazy and come 25-30 mins in she comes out of jungle with bkb manta bf helm and phase and finishes the game in 10 mins.
but pubs. its just not viable
deso, vlads bkb manta ac phase allows her to fight from 10 mins in and is more viable or the scarp****fest of the public servers.
Quite true, that without the jungle you just cannot get as much effeciency. Going for a early ganking build is a nice way of playing pa that suits pubs juat fine, and can really cause chaos among the enemy carries who are still struggling to farm.
Supports in the solo games really don't do much apart from sitting in lane and leeching xp, and buy observer wards. In all my games, the only time i saw a support who consistently lane the enemy team out, pulls and stacks camps for the carry, and constantly rotate to help other lanes was me and 2 other guys.
Some supports do bother with dewarding and setting up sentries, but few know how to set sebtries to counter invis hwroes
However, you do lose the ability to farm ancient stacks easily and you also will find it harder to deal with illusion based heroes like pl and CK. If you try and go for combo wombo with magnus or enigma, battlefury is a nice synergy, tho with magnus he can just empower you
It had doubt me that is BF that terrible on PA? Before I share my view on this, I want to share some few game. ( don't ask me for dotabuff, as their replays are likely to be expired now )
There are few comeback with BF PA, one of the game which shocked me the most are a PA with only PMS and brown shoe trying to rush BF, but end up more deaths than kills. At first I looked down at that player because PA with only brown shoe and PMS at 20:00 are very bad played. But until 25:00 he finally get a BF, he started to get kills, more kills and much more kills, once he got that BF, he get power tread and helm of the dominator within 5 min, and proceed to get godlike and rekt us with only BF HotD PT.
You guys must be thinking that we don't know how to counter that BF PA, PA with only 1k HP owned you all? Noobs! But the fact is she always jump out when we are scattered or spent up all our MP/skills on cooldown especially after initiation. She simply jump out from no where and able to take down anyone with 1-2 crits. She don't even need to get a BKB because she always come out as 2nd initiation.
Ok, here's what I think about BF PA, yes you spend first 20min doing nothing, and come out with 1k HP and 0 defense to nukes. If lina or lion stunned you, you are dead, but that's not gonna happens in pub, no one is going to conserve a stun for you, so if you come out as 2nd initiation you will wreck. The damage from BF is REALLY good, it's 65 damage, it will contribute around 300 damage to your crits. Also the cleave are not designed to wreck teamfight, you are not a kunkka so you can't take down the whole enemy team with 1 cleaved-crit, but it's extremely useful while you are farming in between each engagements. Your farm will be accelerated at such a high rate that you're like BF magina ( since nc spawn rate are constant, so it's the same while farming nc only, plus you can use HotD to stack nc while away from forest, which magina must rely on his team to stack )
I'm not recommending BF on PA, as I tend to build MoC/desolator on her, but BF on PA are completely viable.
Phantom Assasin is far and away my most played hero. I'm a sucker for the Battle Fury build, but ONLY if I can get it before a certain time (usually I pace myself for 17 minutes). If I can't get it by then, I'll go for a Basher then Vlad's. I'm not saying that Battle Fury is a good item on the hero, though. It lets you farm really fast and makes you uncontrollable in pubs, but if things go wrong the game is lost. It's gimmicky to be honest.
The problem IMO is that PA cannot blink from camp to camp like AM. Phantom Strike requires you to have vision of the camps which you usually won't.
Right now i prefer the vlads deso build, and pa is getting very popular among my picks. It gives you very early fighting power and can be done at latest 20min if you farm properly. Another build i've been going for is the stats manta build, which is quite fun to look at.
Flash Farm. You don't need to worry about tanking up because you can just get Blur which will give you enough time to farm BFury and a few other items before they get MKB's. You kill waves and neutrals so fast with BFury its ridiculous. It gives you damage and ability to spam dagger and blink… I don't see why you wouldn't buy it. In my experience it works in pubs, with a bit of planning. Take safe lane, put a ward that can see camps without blocking them, stack with long range dagger.
The few times I play PA is usually when I stack with friends, I used to love Bfury build but I don't use it anymore. I tend to go something like Phase > Drum > Yasha > HotD > BKB > S&Y (this is just a personal thing, probably only works effectively at 2k mmr but I quite like it, sometimes don't bother getting it tho :p) > Basher > Abyssal > Satanic. I basically just farm until I have a couple of my cheap cores up and then take early towers and pickoffs, I feel the hero is very effective at ganking weak enemies and it honestly boosts farm more than just getting creeps, obviously some games you might need to use a different tactic, but I like just getting early kills with a bit of help from my friends.
I still think if you can get away with it, HotD into BF is the best build. Like HotD is all of the stats you need to fight early, and BF secures your item transition to the mid and the late game. Because despite your skillset being very mid game orientated, you often have to transition later into the game than you'd like. And without the farming speed, you'll fall behind cores with innate farming ability.
Plus, if you build up an item lead on your opponent, which BF enables you to do, then you can fight even with MKB pick-ups. It's not what you want to do, but it's a more reliable thing than simply trying to snowball.
