Less Than 20 Days to Go

So here we are. TI5 is less than 20 days away, and the hype train is gaining speed. It's still sad to hear that there are still visa issues happening at this stage of the preperations but I hope that Valve and sponsors can get those taken care of as soon as possible.

This is going to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest e-sports tournament in the history of competitive gaming. It's amazing to see how far the professional gaming scene has come in the past decade. From a few thousand to a few million in cash prizes. I can't contain the amount of excitement I have for this tournament and for the future of Dota. We have TI5, then starting next season we have the majors which will hopefully expand e-sports even further.

Here we are with less than 20 days to go. What are you most looking forward to at the international this year, and for the future of dota?

I'm hoping the current meta will make for some really interesting games...a good ole mix of early ganking, ricing, deathball, split push and teamfight. No single dominant strat, a big bucket of variety...

The obvious final from all the events leading up to TI is that it's going to be an EG Secret final. And that will be amazing if ESLOne is any indication.

Basically so long as we get good DOTA (And this patch heavily encourages good DOTA), it'll be an amazing tournament.

I'm not sure what to expect but I absolutely cannot wait! I enjoy watching DotA more than playing it and have been looking forward to TI since last year :D

I'm interested to see if the Teams have any secret strats that they will unleash. I would also like to see a more diverse Hero pool used too. d;p

Until Newbee comes along with another boring strat. :c
