Well usually i maxed stun first so i usually go that way. I did blink hex a couple of times too, but not as much, thanks for tip!
Jungling ursa is viable if you want a 15 min blink dagger kappa. Well I also roam around the map for opportunities, you shiuld at least help 2 ganks when jungling ursa.

Hex is usually the best spell to lead off with, because it has no cast or travel time. Thus the chance of BKB reactions are much much lower. As in almost impossible. Which is important after a while.
In early game, spike keeps them in position, whilst Hex lets them move a little bit. Thus it's also easier to Mana Drain -> Finger with when they aren't moving.
Of course if you are getting a multi hero stun, Spike is obviously the better lead off...
Sorry I'm getting off topic -
OT:
1- Medusa I think she's the only 1 position I've actually used in a proper game.
2- Invoker I've played more games of SF, but I find Invoker more entertaining, and I think my QW is alright. My QE is garbage tho.
3 - Centaur Warrunner - My most used non-support.
4 - Uuuuuh, Lion I guess. Used to be Shadow Shaman, but I've not played him much since the 6.83? nerfs to Shackles mana cost.
5 - Earthshaker - Gotta love them 30 minute Blink Dagger pick-ups winning games.
1. Dragon Knight. What? Stop looking at me like that, you can run a position 1 DK, even if he goes mid...alright, for you traditional people, Chaos Knight.
Before 6.84 I'd have said Oracle is by far my most favorite and successful hero, but his ult was basically replaced by Glimmer Cape and you can see how good that item is.
1. Medusa or Spectre*
2. Invoker or Night Stalker* or Shadow Fiend*
3. Clockwerk or Earth Spirit(although I am not good with him)
4. Lion or Earth Spirit
5. Vengeful Spirit or Skywrath Mage

Hex hits faster than Spike, no chances for cheeky orchids and stuff.
