newbee ....****ing that pisses me off to no end though ... like newbee are so **** atm compared to other teams, look at Rave or or alliance or Navi... newbee have lost 80% of their games since 6.8 and they still get an invite.... that is ****ing ********, you should get an invite based on the performance you have had throughout the year in competitions and scrims .... THEY ****ING WENT 0-14 AT DAC 0 ****ing 14... that is ****ed.

you should get an invite based upon merit not because your the reigning champ. thats not how other sports work and it shouldnt be how TI works. this pissed me off. imagine if Germany had lost every game they played but get put into the top 16 of the FIFA world cup straight away because they won it last year... there would be a ****ing massive upcry people would riot coutries would object and **** would fly ...

When you are using football ( yes the one in which you actually use your foot) as a reference, there is a good example of the same thing Valve did. If you win the UEFA champions league, you are directly invited to the next year's one. Chelsea that won the UEFA champions league was doing really bad in their own league and they wouldn't have qualifed if it wasn't for that rule.

a: they get put in group stages which is similar to qualifiers in TI so why not they do that?
b: TI is not UEFA level its Worldcup level. im fine if its like Starladder or something but not TI


i would be fine if they gave newbee an invite to qualifiers like alliance got not a direct invite.

direct invites should be for the top teams CURRENTLY not last year, hey lets invite TEAMS that ARENT EVEN AROUND ANYMORE because someteams that were winning heaps last year arent even a team anymore ...

and whats more its annoying because all we will see is newbee getting stomped and its going to be boring ...

I'm so enjoying you people being butthurt because some teams got invited and some didn't.

Edit: I myself don't give a **** about the other invites. The only important thing was that VG and IG got invited and that Na'Vi didn't get invited.
