I understand people why people want the defending champion back, but unless they suddenly massively improve they will just get last in a groupstage.
I would even say that they are clearly the worst team in the tournament, and that i only see them maybe ahead of MY or another team that has a bad tournament.

Last year the only reason they won was Xiao8's brilliant drafts. About 60% of the win was purely his drafts. Mu did excell and hao is an great carry, but they were almost elliminated early on, and because of great drafts (and 1 thrown teamfight from titan) they managed to make that run though the tournaments weird format with that small upper bracket, and before you could say 'wtf just happenned' they were in the grand final.

If they do poorly, they will be eliminated early.

I don't mind that. They should have the chance to defend the title though, even if they're not as good as they were.
