I will now proceed to get myself a nice working machine, according to your advices, that runs smoothly the game without having to disconnect each five minutes :)
As someone with considerable knowledge in this area....stop offering advice without knowing anything.
Corsair is hands down one of the best PC parts manufacturers, and there power supplies are very high quality. as for the bronze rating thats fine...? the bronze-silver-gold etc. rating is the power loss from the capacitors, so no it's not going to short out in 6 months...you spud....
As for actual advice I recommend the classic console killer build as it is known, the build is around $400 to $500 depending on your country and build selection, it as in the name is more powerful then todays next gen consoles, this means you should easily be able to power dota 2 even with the new source 2 graphics engine being released. I don't think you will be able to max out all dota settings and get 144 fps but it should run quite smoothly.
i5 4690K
Kingston HyperX RAM 8GB CAS: 9 2133hz
EVGA GTX 780 Classified 4gb
ASROCK Extreme 4
128gb samsung evo SSD
2*2tb seagate HDD in Raid 0
2*27' AOC IPS monitors that I can't remember the model of
Noctua NH-D14
NZXT Phantom 410
Corsair RM 750W 80+ Gold fully modular
Cyborg R.A.T 9
Corsair K95 cherry mx red
Steel-series Siberia Elite 7.1 Dolby Surround
thats off the top of my head anyway
edit 2: I just read all of your comment, and you think this "cheap non modular power supply" is bad, what....mysterious plants are you smoking that you think being non modular is bad for a low budget build, that just means you might have some extra cables in your case.....I am going to stop before I say terrible terrible things here
XD

Take a look on the world wide interwebs.
Corsair's PSUs are trash. Lots of complaints about having to RMA all of their bronze PSUs and cheap-*** RM PSUs with their really skimpy internals.
SeaSonic or Superflower made only. That is a general rule. Corsair hands down is the most overrated company in the business.
And I am aware the AX series is SeaSonic made.
The rest???
The HX series is alright, the CX and CM and RM series are plagued by cheap capacitors, coil whine and poor assembly quality.

I am sorry mate but I think removed by mod corsair is a perfectly fine company and like all computer products cheap one are some times ****. It has been summed up perfectly stop offering advice without knowing anything.
You know why i rep'd FLEET?(not that this is rep wars)
Its because he gave something to start looking with. HE PROVIDED USEFUL INFO. HE GAVE US HIS BUILD AS WELL.
So stahp the h8 m8s. Please supplement your assertions with FACTS before CONCLUDING anything.
I am interested to understand why corsair is trash bu you need to provide me the certified and factual info backed with good mass reputation.
I am currently going for a PC to build with a 800-1500 $ Budget. So instead of trashing, think about people like me.
Think about the respect you people command for us.
Look the rest up, you get the picture. Do you want a heart made with cheap parts (like delicious CWT capacitors), or a high quality heart made by a reputable company known for making the best PSUs around? Because if your PSU shorts out your entire system goes up in a puff of smoke.
I have second computer which is Really cheap and i can run dota 2 maybe 30 fps (yeah, i know its Really laggy)
Specs:
Intel Pentium 4 3ghz (at least 10 year old)
3gb ddr 2 ram
10 year old motherboard
Nvidia gt 420 1gb
Ubuntu 10.something (32 bit)
And iät works really well! I have played spectre and medusa on this computer and got over 650 gpm.
uh...every link you provided is you searching for people saying corsair is bad....and nothing coming up....
and the last link...."Corsair has created a good reputation for their branded PSUs, and today they are among the most popular choices for gamers and enthusiasts."
literally argues against you.

not sure what your trying to accomplish there
I think we have gone past that point where we are arguing over whether corsair is bad or not.
I'd say Fleet you keep up with your own inputs. I really enjoyed that console killer post you made.
@ layers: small advice. You never win arguments. You compromise.
Coolermaster PSU's are....well...yknow average, they have some good cost effective ones, they did have some capacitor issues in the past due to poor quality but I believe those are fixed
