Traxex - U Mad? Yes, I'm!

Introduction

Welcome to my guide/build to my favorite Hero, Traxex The Drow Ranger.(Build and guided done to Dota 2, ignore some item names and shortcuts if want to use on dota 1)
If u are some kind of raging people that say thinks like: "WHAAATTT, ARE YOU F**** CRAZY??? MADNESS???" or, "STFO NOOB ORB EFFECTS DON'T STACK AND MADNESS ARE NOTHING TO TRAXEX!!!!1!!111" or more than this, u can't read all the guide to see why my build works, and yes it works very well, please go away :P.

This guide will show you why this different build works and how to maximize your abilities with drow ranger, the strongest ranged non-mage hero in this game.

Important to know about

Traxex is a aquishy archer with high damage, don't stay close team fight, keep shooting Frost Arrows out of team fight, if enemy focus you this won't be good xD. Don't use frost arrows on creeps, this won't help you, keep using normal attack so you can stay on lane/jungle using the lifesteal that Mask of Madness give to you. Yes lifesteal is an orb effect and don't stack with your slow, but on team fight this won't help, if the enemy focus you, lifesteal will be needless.
Your Silence spent a lot of your mana pool, don't spam it or you won't have mana to spam Frost Arrows.

Skill List

Q > Frost Arrows main reason because Drow Ranger is a greatest BADASS on this game.
W > Silence allied with Frost Arrows gives to you an ability to kill any hero on this game.
E > Trueshot Aura on early/mid game the damage bonus are not very expressive, but on end game with half or full build done, it gives to you awesome amount of damage.
R > Marksmanship allmighty OP Drow Ranger's Ultimate, gives you an amount of agility increasing your damage and atk. speed.

Core Items Explanation

Mask of Madness Phase Boots and Shadow Blade are your core build, with these 3 items you can kill and survive all the game. A lot of people can rage about the Mask of Madness use because lifesteal and Frost Arrows's Slow(main skill) are 2 orb effects and don't stack. How can I say?? hmmmm... It doesn't matter, Mask of Madness aren't core item because it gives lifesteal, are a core item because it gives a CRAZY AMOUNT OF ATTACK SPEED and move speed. With these 2 stats enhanced you can kill and run when needed, Mask of Madness move speed allied with Shadow Blade's move speed and invisibility or with Phase Boots move speed gives to you an awesome survability alternative, you can enter and escape any team fight literally like a ghost :D.

Early Game

Let's Start.

Good items to you choose on early game are obvious:



Whys this 2, are you mad?
No, i'm not mad. This 2 items give to you damage and survability to early game, until lvl 6 are hard to last hit creeps because traxex don't have any considerable damage to do it well, don't worry if the enemy deny your farm until lvl 6, just focus on stay on lane and get exp.
On lvl 6, get your ultimate skill, and start to harass your enemy, if you get a kill good, if not, don't worry now will be more easy to start your build. Get Mask of Madness asap, when you own it you'll start to kill like Freddy, Chucky, Jason and Chuck Norris.

Mid Game

Now you have the allmighty,added with your passive Ultimate Marksmanship and you are a killing machine AWWW YEAAAAHHH!!!, now i'll explain better how to do it.

Kill Instructions

First choose your target, on early game better choose alone heroes or squishies, don't worry with CC abilities, your silence will solve it.
After prey choosen, go trough the jungle and activate Mask of Madness > Silence > Frost Arrows + Shoot > Frost Arrows + Shoot > Frost Arrows + Shoot >, until prey dies.

Important to know

If your victim start to walk until you start to kite, walk a bit far away and hit again, do it until you get a kill
If your victim have a hard CC likeandtake care, silence and hit just when they stay on silence. When silence over, RUN TO THE HILLS, activate phase boots and run, if shadow is on cooldown this are your only alternative, if note, just activate shadow and run. Phase boots + Mask of Madness will turn you impossible to catch.

End Game - Defending Situation

Today your teamm all sux and you are the only one with good score on your team, if you won't surrender and stay on base xD. Weel if you follow this guide you have a good score and now own unless these items

With these items you can easy defend your towers, keep doing it until you get full build, when you get it start to destroy enemy towers. With full build u can literally destroy any tower in 5 seconds without creeps to protect you :), yes madness does miracles. Keep doing it until you win o/

Situational Items

Black King Bar can help you against a heavy CC team. Bkb gives to you a good survability and a good amount of damage.

Blade Mail save you from awesome carry team like bloodseeker, broomother, riki, Gondar, etc.

Gem of True Sight] Awesome against stealth heroes like [[Broodmother and Riki.

Orchid Malevolence helps you against casters/mages team, your Silence are good but just helps you 6 sec, after it use Orchid Malevolence.

And finally

Desolator Against tanky team are awesome but not too much to goes to main build, Butterfly and Monkey King Bar are better against mixed teams.
