Ursa is a very strong jungle hero. He can kill Roshan as soon as he gets Vladmir's Offering and end the game very early with his burst damage from Overpower.
This guide is very simple, nothing next level about it, but it was made with love and that is what counts.
Is the only lifesteal item that will work on Ursa because his Fury Swipes are a unique attack modifier. You could possibly skip this item if there is a Skeleton King On your team, although the lifesteal effects from Vampiric Aura and Vladmir's Offering Do stack.
Use this to enter Roshan for the first time. Later in game you should be Roshing as often as possible, especially after teamfights. Smoke isn't Necessary for roshing later in game because you will finish so fast, especially with a skull basher. More pro stuff can be done with smoke but i am not smart enough for that.
You will spend most of your time chasing enemies, making Phase Boots a great choice. You will be able to beat most heroes 1v1 very easily if you can get in attack range, making movespeed very important.
I prefer Blink Dagger over Shadow Blade but either will work. Blink Dagger is cheaper which means you will be ganking much earlier than a Shadow Blade. This should be bought immediately after phase boots. Use Overpower before blinking then immediately use Earthshock
Great on almost all carries for obvious reasons. This can be skipped if your opponent has few reliable stuns or go through magic immunity such as Primal Roar
a full list of abilities that go through magic immunity can be found Here
because i luv stuns. This will cause more buttmadness than the slow from Sange and is only 900 gold more. If behind on farm/need durablity, then consider getting a Sange.
always carry one of these. Late game swap Phase Boots for Boots of Travel to make room for a 6th item.
Adjust your item build according to your scenario.
Jungling Ursa is rather straight forward.
Kill easy camp, kill medium camp, repeat.
Pull camps at x:52 to stack but don't make too many stacks and make the camp unkillable.
After getting Vladmir's Offering from killing easy/medium camps you should focus on ganking, killing roshan, and killing ancient camps.
This map is very nice, also includes ward spots; very important to know.
It is important to know how to counter Ursa In case some poopy head picks him first. A good Ursa can easily steamroll a team if left unchecked. It is also important to be aware of how your opponents will react to your fuzziness so that you can counter their counter.
The first line of defense is to counter pick. Any hero with a disable/slow will help a lot. Beastmaster, Venomancer, Bane, and Slardar to name a few.
The Second line of defense is to block jungle camps with Observer Ward. This will either force him to lane, get you killed while placing wards, or make the Ursa confused as to why the camps aren't spawning.
The Third line of defense is to gank the jungle frequently. This can be somewhat hard because a good team will likely have wards at rune spots, covering one of the jungle's entrances. Assume that the rune spots are always warded. Instead, enter the jungle through lane, or using an invis hero such as Clinkz or Bounty Hunter. Ursa can easily be killed 1v1 early game when he is hurt from jungle creeps and lacking mobility.
The Fourth line of defense is through items.
