I think you meant to say Mjollnir instead of maelstrom. Since the Mjollnir gives the attack speed, not the maelstrom.

Mask of Madness is not absolute core. You know what else helps you rape inside Chronosphere: any damage or attack speed item.

Mask of Madness: absolute core on Faceless Void. It's the first item I get (when an early Vanguard isn't needed), not only gives a good farming with jungle potential but you also rape inside Chronosphere with it. The side-effect of Berserk shouldn't be a problem if you know how to use it.

Amazing build tryed this out, with battle fury, power treads, Black king bar, Mask of madness, Butterfly and Aghanim's scepter. It was an amazing victory, gettin godlikes and stuff. P.s love your builds for LOL too.

Mask of madness isn't required on Faceless void at all.

I'm sorry but the Mask of Madness is so important to the Faceless Void play... I would agree with you don't rush it, a nice vanguard or something that gives you survivability should always come first, but the mask gives you so much early mid and late game dmg its stupid not to get. Faceless Void is one of the most farm dependent heroes in the game so naturally you need to be a good farmer but the point of farming is not to push your lane, with a Battle Fury you push your lane to hard opening up ganks or forcing you to travel giving yourself to much down time losing the farm you need to be the best carry you can be.
