The secret recipe of Pugna Ownage
The awesome stuffs
^o^
Massive tower pushing abilities
Free massive regen Ulti and with no cooldown
Massive harrasment potential during early game
Netherward makes spell dependent heroes cry
Ez farming Ez life
Highest Int gain in the game
High base damage for early game
Good AOE with fast cooldown
The bad stuffs
Horrible strength gain
Needs good farming or will be squishy
Stupid kills stealing machine
Really really stupid attack speed
An exploding pulse deals damage to enemies and structures in the area.
Range: 400
Radius: 400
Damage to units: 100/175/250/325
Damage to structures: 50/87.5/125/162.5
Blast Delay: 0.9
This is your main skill for pushing and early mid game damage
A powerful banishing spell that slows a unit and renders it unable to attack or be attacked. Afflicted units take extra magic damage.
Range: 700
Duration: 2/2.5/3/3.5
Bonus Spell Damage: 50% against enemies, 25% against allies
Movement Speed Slow: 50%
Good skill for chasing running enemies, amplifies damage from your Nether Blast, so use them together as a chasing combo
Pugna places a nether ward that fires mana flares at enemy heroes who dare to cast spells, while also preventing them from regenerating mana. Nether Ward deals damage equal to the damage multiplier times the mana spent by the enemy hero. Lasts 25 seconds.
Radius: 1600
Duration: 25
Hit to kill: 3/3/3/3
Damage Per Mana Used: 1/1.25/1.5/1.75
Mana Regeneration: -1.5/-3.0/-4.5/-6
One of Pugna's most op skill, plant it in a team fight, enemies wont have the time to attack your ward, so it will deal massive damage to spell casters
CHANNELED - While channelling Life Drain, Pugna siphons HP of the target enemy unit. If you are full HP when hitting heroes, it will restore mana instead. Lasts 10 seconds. Upgradable by Aghanim's Scepter.
Range: 850 (900*)
Duration: 10
Health Drained Per Second: 120/160/200 (180/240/300*)
Always Decrepify a unit before draining as it will amplify the damage for it. Very good skill to be suddenly used it team fights as enemies mostly wont notice and will die of shock~~
You may choose MID, or go with a lane partner. I prefer going mid so that I could reach level 6 faster and I can easily harass mid heroes with Nether Blast
Pugna is really good at pushing and harassing from his first skill Nether Blast, low cd, great aoe so take that as your advantage. Decrepify is a good chasing mechanism if enemies are trying to run away, it is also a decent escape mechanism if you are crossing blades with a melee hero trying to own you down with his auto attack.
ALWAYS REMEMBER
Please always max nether blast first
You skill prioties are
1st : Nether Blast
2nd : Nether Ward
3rd : Decrepify
Items to get
Bracer for tankiness and survivability
Magic Stick or Magic Wand it's like one of the best early games item in the game
Phase Boots since this is a semi carry build, arcane boots are for your supports, not you
Sage's Mask For extra mana regen, don't upgrade it to Ring of Basilius if you've passed int 33 as it will regen less then sage mask.
Here's what you are suppose to do in the mid game,
by now your team should already sweep all tier 1 towers, if not please do.
After you've done that it's time to gank. Since pushing tier 2 towers will put you in danger of your opponents ganging up to defend, it's most advisable to stay with your team.
Items to get
Afghanim's scepter : Get this asap, since if will give you a massive to your ulti and nice stats
Shiva's Guard Starting building platemail first, get it before 40 minutes
Now, you can no longer carry anymore
They are harder carries on your team and now your job is to...ya know, push and help in ganks, thats all. Never go for solo kills unless it's a really underfarmed support soloing his/her lane. DO not try to delay the game if there are really strong carries in the opposing team
*a secret tip
Whenever ganks are happening, Life Drain the one who is fighting against your carry or the disabler, sometimes they wont even know that their life force is losing 450 hp/s :DD Since you having 0 cooldown, so what the hell
Items to get
Dagon would be pretty useful since you don't have any hard damaging spells anymore.
Scythe of Vyse Extremely helpful iniator tool
Black King Bar most important thing in DotA, helps your squishiness
Ethereal Blade amplifies you skills for maximum damage
Phase Boots
Probably the best boots, you are a carry, not a support. Arcane Boots are for your support to get them.
Aghanim's Scepter
This allows your ulti to have 0 cool down, 300hp/sec (450hp/sec* after Decrepify. Definitely a must
Shiva's Guard
It's for the slows, good stats, letting you suck more hp
Scythe of Vyse
It's for the hex, good stats, making you have more damage potential and useful in team fights
dagon
Good for chasing down enemies, use your Life Drain, get their hp down 1/5 and just ZAPPPPPPP
Ethereal Blade
Get this so you can nuke down or suck more hp from those poor little enemies. The extra magical damage will provide you the upper edge in ganks or hunts
Rhasta is one of your fellow wizards, eg skill combo : Hex--> Shackles while you drain the life out of that poor little guy.
Decripify's slow will allow Razor to steal more damage with Static Link
Ogre has stun, slows, and buffs your attack speed and movement speed. Definitely one of your best friends :D
His Reflections Slow will give you enough time for netherblast and Life Drain, your Decrepify is a good sill for him to position himself
This little bug's stun, Mana Burn will decrease many of you mana since you have such strong int gain.
A few hits of mana break will remove some of your mana, use a few spells and one Mana Void is enough to end your killing spree
A silenced pugna is pretty useless, and with your squishyness, that stealth assassin will kill in in mere seconds.
