What people often forget in those men-women discussions are some natural biology differences. And one of them is that women mostly don't get obsessed enough with something to give a full 100% on something and make a career. Feminists want more women in man dominated things, which I can understand, but you also need to find the women to do it. I know there is also sexism and other discrimination but women in general are less likely to build out a career since they often don't have the same mentallity men do often have the "I go for it a 100% mindset".

It's not about dedication I think(women are pretty dedicated to whatever they really think they7 need to achieve), but about ambition. Men are very competitive by nature, women are usually not.

Yea that is an interesting psychological aspect, and I agree to some extent: not necessarily dedication, because indeed women are a bit fierce and even *****y when they want something, and they are competivive, but not in the same sense of men, and not in games as much. So you see, you're both talking about interesting psychological and biologycal differences that actually exist and sound reasonable to me.

Meanwhile this girl is saying women are "biologically limited" in playing because, among other things, they do not have "sufficient quick reflexes", which is not proven. She says a bunch of ******** after some interesting stuff (regarding the competitive scene for instance, which makes sense, it's really hard to become a competitive player). It made me cringe a bit, especially coming out of a terrible player that streams with her boobs out for views XD

i don't remember where i read it, but i did see an article saying that while women generally tend to have lower quick reflexes and other similar stuff, sufficient practise can allow them to stand at the same level as a male pro.

Umm... I read the whole article... is the conclusion not that there aren't any major biological differences that won't be mitigated with practice? It's in bold at the bottom...

There is no major biological disadvantage means that There are biological disadvantages. I read a bit about gender differences and I never saw anything slightly related to reflexes or anything else connected to gaming. Unless there is scientifical proof of this, it's just ********, as much as saying some cliché like men are less sensible than women.

There are gender differences but it doesn't translate into work or play. I am a feminist that believes in equity in inequality. Women cant be men and neither can men be women. But they should be treated the same: with Love,respect,kindness and equality

A lot of the actions a person do in his life can be refered to to his sexual ambition. And since men and women have different sexual ambitions you will see a difference in bahavior. However in a "neutral" moment, when no actions are done for the sexual ambition" there will be less differences. There will still be things different because they were thaught so.

One of those differences is "active and passive". We can say that a man is mostly active and a woman passive. We see this for example that men are more likely to hook up girls than girls would hook up men. Of course when you as girl are thaught to be passive, to fullfill your sexual ambition, than it is logical to be passive in other situations. Even when there is no sexual ambition present at the current situation.

Paradigm: Just something that I general see in my personal live, so maybe this is a wrong example but still I think this proves the above. When someone goes to a DIY shop and there is a girl working their, fulling up shelves, and you ask her for instance were you can find red paint, she will or not know were the paint is or she will just point at it. A man can also now know were the paint is and maybe he will also just point at it but yet a man will still be more likely to further help you, by asking another employee, helping you find it and if he knows where the paint is he is more likely to escort you.

This is just a difference I often recognize between men and women, however this doesn't make one gender superior to another. This just shows that there are differences which can lead into being less women in a specific job or just different behavior in general.
