That's right, everyone. After...A period of time I have not bothered to count, I have returned. And what better way to make a comeback than to do what I (hopefully) do best. A hero concept, naturally. So without any further ado, let us begin with a concept based around a character from a very underappreciated old DS game called Luminous Arc. Although, for those of you who actually do know the game, the lore will be different to what you know. (It will be obvious that i've forgotten most of how to format these things, so uhh...Bear with me on that one.).
Pollon, the Incredible Hero!
Lore
Deep in the Lethe Forest, magical creatures roam free and undisturbed by the machinations of time, locked in a perpetual period of joy and peace for as long as they remain inside the boundaries of the looping, gnarled treeline. Though, there are often those who seek to leave, braving the outside world and the horrors plaguing the lands of Men, Keen or Oglodi. These select few creatures often do not return, and those that do come back are forever altered by their rude awakenings.
The main village of the Lethe Forest housed a wide assortment of strange and whimsical inhabitants, ranging from anthropomorphic Manatees, tiny Harvest Mice who work the grain mills, or large Weaver-Spiders who spin the cover over the sky, preventing the nigh-omnipresent eyes of the Skywrath from gleaning the secrets of the woods. However, the most interesting of these creatures was a member of the former.
Short and stubby, the white skinned Manatee known as Pollon went about his days as any child, hard working yet able to retain an air of cheerfulness at all times. Ever optimistic, the cheerful Pollon was always a face that brought cheer to his fellow classmates, his clumsiness for the most part the most entertaining part of lessons, second only to his stories of one day becoming something much grander; he took it all in his stride, never faltering in his unwavering loyalty to those he deemed friends. It was only when he wandered to the forest's edge that his outlook changed.
A returning warrior Ant, armour stained yellow with the ichor-like blood of his race, reached just inside the borders of the woods before collapsing, keeling over and coughing up even more blood. His armour was torn almost completely apart. What was once shining, magically enchanted steel had been weathered by time, hostile spells, and clearly combat with whichever creature finally finished him off. Pollon tried his level best to drag the broken warrior back to the main village, but the Ant passed away halfway there, having reassured the poor Manatee that he already knew he was not going to make it home. As a parting gift, the soldier told Pollon to look after his helmet: the only part of his armour that would be redeemable after his quest. The teenaged Manatee was at a loss as he found himself unable to help his bretheren even though he was standing right next to him.
Pollon remained by the corpse, clutching the perfectly sized helmet in his two stubby arms until the sun stopped blessing the world with its presence for the day. He returned to his home surprisingly resolute, refusing to answer his friends' queries as to why he had been so late home, why he had blood on his arms...Why he was wearing a helmet.
And so, in the night while nobody would notice, Pollon fell out of bed with the usual clumsiness that was expected of him, waited to see if his parents had woken up, and then set off downstairs, helmet clasped to his head firmly. On his way out of the door, he retrieved the enchanted sword he had gotten from the dead Ant. Leaving but a single goodbye note, he set off into the outside world, determined to help as many people as he could...In his own, often clumsy, way.

Main attribute: Strength Base Strength: 21 (+2.3) Base Agility: 15 (+1.7) Base Intelligence: 18 (+1.9) Base Movespeed: 305
Base Attack: 50
Base Armour: 5 Attack Type: Melee
Base Attack Time: 1.6
Skills
Inbuilt passive: BANZAI!
Pollon's basic attacks deal 1.5x their value every time,
which does stack with crit like a normal attack, but they
have a constant, unchangable 18% chance to miss. Additional
miss chance like evasion and Radiance's burn can be
removed with MKB, but the passive is unaffected. Pollon's clumsiness is often lucky enough to lands hits
in the correct place, but sometimes...
Q: Yatta! (target ground)
Pollon charges bravely forward at a constant speed.
If he makes contact with an enemy, he lands a deep slash,
slowing the struck foe's movement speed and causing a
small damage over time effect. Only the slow pierces
BKB. Distance: 700/800/900/1000 units Speed: 300/350/400/450 units per second Slow(%): 20/25/30/35 Damage per second (Magical): 20/40/60/80 Duration: 5 Cooldown: 17/16/15/14 Mana Cost: 115/110/105/100 Pollon's bladework is known throughout the land...
But not necessarily praised at times.
W: Hail (AoE, target area)
Using his people's natural connection with water,
Pollon tosses a large shard of magic infused ice
at an area, dealing some damage and healing allies,
on top of a minor slow. Does not pierce BKB Range: 550/600/650/700 units Damage/Heal (Magical): 75/125/175/225 Slow(%): 10 Slow duration: 3 Cooldown: 10 Mana Cost: 80/90/100/100 Nobody is quite certain where he draws the water
from, but Pollon has yet to cause trouble for allies with
it, so they allow him to use it.
E: Shining Sword (passive)
Pollon's enchanted sword grants him increased attack
speed, movement speed and a small chance to reflect an
opponent's basic attack right back at them for full damage
that would have been dealt, including crits. Reflect chance
is pseudo-random. Attack speed: 20/35/50/65 Movespeed(%): 5/10/15/20 Reflect chance(%): 10 Often underestimated, Pollon's keen eye is occasionally
enough to counteract his clumsiness.
R: Final Blade (Target enemy hero)
Pollon tries to attack a foe, tripping over in such a way that
his sword flies out of his hands directly into his enemy, causing
incredible physical damage but increasing his passive miss chance
for a duration. Damage: 460/710/999 Passive miss chance(%): 60 Duration: 6 Cooldown: 110/100/90 Mana cost: 200/250/300 "Watch as I gracefully slice through my opponents, koo!"

If you had come back slightly earlier you could have joined us in the FoC, too bad hahaha
I don't plan to comment too much on the hero, I love the character design! (Albeit you didn't make it, strictly speaking. The ult is interesting tho, 999 damage but increase his hit-or-miss (literally) gameplay. I'm not fond with how you add cooldowns, not reduce it tho (there is none in dota).

Anyway, great to have you back!! :D
Where have I been? Whew lad, I really don't have a good response to that one. Just kinda...Stopped visiting one day and forgot mostly. I don't know how often Bunkansee is here anymore, but I was playing with him a fair amount.
Adding cooldowns? Yeaaaah looking back on that, it's a tad excessive. I'll just go edit that one rl quick.
Rest assured i've missed people here too, but staying active on here was not my top priority, especially after I started playing other games a bit more frequently. I'll probably be seen more often now, however.
See, I knew we were missing some people. Now we just have to somehow get Pory back.
Great hero.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives PRECISELY when he is needed. Unless you are me. In which case it might take significantly longer than that.
