It's still half a year from TI4, but it never hurts to think about all the participating teams and players.

Would be great if everyone posted their predictions in this thread - not limited to the participating teams, but discussion about TI4 in general (Gimmicks that valve is going to use for raising the prize pool, events like the solo championship in TI3, etc)

I can't quite guess the teams for this year, a lot of the top professional teams disbanded so I can only think of 12 teams that would be invited.

Too early to guess, there might be more disbands and roster changes.

Lol this sounds a bit like Fallout's Radio Station.

Anyway, I actually hope to see more new faces appear on the Internationals. Judging from this year, I'm sure there will be a lot new players.

Maybe some new team will make their debut and go mania in TI4 xD

Bit far, yes, but I don't think it's too early for discussion ^_^. I personally can't wait for TI; It's practically the only thing I look forward to year after year xD

So teams invited for me, judging based on current status albeit transient, in order of preference are;

1) Alliance (The champs have their work cut out for them. Doubt they'll retain the title)
2) Na'Vi (Love them or hate them, you cannot deny they've got style. Always a title contender)
3) DK (A veritable mine of talent and experience here. And iceiceice <3. Top 4 imo)
4) iG (Mercilessly good execution more often than not)
5) LGD (No matter how they perform, LGD will always remain a pillar of consistency to me)
6) Speed Gaming (A team based on momentum and emotions, would love to see them win. Sing <3)
7) Fnatic (Super strong when they're on their game, clueless when they're not)
8) Vici Gaming (Fy and Fenrir are probably the best support duo in the world right now)
9) Team Liquid (On a big slump right now, but they have an excellent roster)
10) Rox.Kis (I personally think they have one of the strongest rosters based on potential)
11) EG (Surprised myself at how high I placed them. Hope they don't disappoint)
12)Sigma Int (Personally love the team and think FATA- is an amazing player)
13) Tong Fu (Would have rated them much higher a month ago, but looking pretty shaky)
14) Team Empire (Not convincing results of late, but were very promising before they lost Scandal)
15) Titan (Any team with Meracle is a team that can upset anyone)
16) Mouz (I expect them to start performing impressively a month or two before TI and then massively breakdown during the event like they always do)

Although the winds of change are blowing right now in the Chinese scene, in which case my predictions are just a lot of hooey xD

On another note, anyone on the "Kick EE, win TI" bandwagon? :D

But I like EE :c

I don't know about Mouz and EG... Mouz is on the verge of disbanding right now and are always playing through standins, haven't seen EG for a long time now.

I'm really hoping to see TongFu3 in TI, they play pretty well yet they haven't played that much, so I really hope to see some YaphetS action. They only have 3 games so far but have won all of them, so I have high hopes.

And I doubt this will happen, but #TeamZephyrroadtoTI

Hey, don't get me wrong, I LOVE EE ;)

Mouz and EG were the shakiest options imo too, but EG is a force to reckon with when they actually click. The frequency of the "clicks" are abysmal though xD
And agreed about Mouz. I found no better alternative tbh, which is why I went for them, and that too placed them last.

Tongfu3 hasn't played against any of the higher tier teams yet though, have they? Atleast not as far as I know. They won handily in that Korean Super Cup thingy. I am a YaphetS fan myself :3

As for Team Zephyr, I have had difficulty believing they were even serious, lol.

I demand Speed Gaming in the next TI tournament. And I'm also going to guess Na'Vi will reach second place as usual.

Also, as samukobo said:

Well, here are my predictions:-

Phoenix will be the most Banned/Contested Hero, assuming he's released at least a month or 2 before TI4 with Crystal Maiden being Most Picked.

This year will be the year of Na'vi as champions winning 3-1.

The returning Champions, Alliance, will be knocked into the Lower Bracket by Na'vi, then out completely by an Eastern Team which will go on to face Na'vi in the finals.

The Western Qualifying Team will be Team Dignitas

Tobi-wan will outdo his Black Hole celebration when a phenominal Echo Slam is landed in the finals.

Rooted for Alliance last TI, I doubt they'll make it to the finals this year because everyone comes prepared for the last winner in every TI. Na'Vi is an exception because of their explosive and unorthodox playstyle.

Meh, I don't know about dignitas rebanding. Would love to see power rangers though :D

EDIT: I'm also not sure about Phoenix being the top ban. I doubt he's even going to be released in the near future.

Alright, rumors seem to be true. The HUGE chinese reshuffle looms ominously. All predictions go to **** xD

I'll be a sad, sad man if Xiao8 actually leaves LGD for this new dream team. Thoughts?

Also, I think Abyssal Underlord is going to be the most contested hero. Or atleast close to.
