I really hate BH. He contributes almost nothing to the team except maybe a bit of gold, and true sight on invis heroes. Other than that he can't do ****. and there has been one in almost every one of my recent matches. Anyone else seeing this? I can't stand him, on my team or on the other team. On my team h just KS's everything, gets a spree, and thinks he's tough because he knows to wait invisible until he can crit and finish them off with Jinada. Ugh.

Yep, I noticed that too. Although he is much more common on enemy team(like at least 80% of the time), and e often gets successful walking with a solid streak. Got pretty tired of seeing him for that couple of weeks already.

It's presumably because the hero has been making waves in the competitive scene.

The thing is, the thing that makes him potentially good in pro games (Beyond countering Junglers like Chen and Enchantress is that he can add a lot of chaos to the laning stage, and help your entire team snowball. And in pubs where the co-ordination is weaker, this can have a less profound influence. But even in pro-games, he's high risk high reward. Either he dominates games, or he does next to nothing, and it's like playing 4v5.

Like when he has a good game, he's actually terrifying. Not because you know he can solo-kill people at a whim, but because he makes you play scared, gives vision, and gives an ability to snowball your entire team.

Since you just can't have enough Chaos Breaker.

Yeah I just had a DK game against a BH and he ended up getting all cores and Raipier, due to the fact I was the only one buying Dust. And nobody tried to even stick together. It was partially my fault for not getting more lockdown, but he is just really annoying.

P.S pubs need to stop following the pros, this is not the pros. I hate it when they do that.

Bh doesn't just give a little gold to allies, he makes the entire team rich if they work together. The best part is that bh fits almost perfectly to this meta's early 5 man deathball strategy. I think that is the main reason he is picked so often. 5 man early on already gives you so much gold if you do it well, but add a bh and you will be drowning in money. If you haven't tried it out, i suggest you give it a go and see how powerful bh works for your team

KSing BH's are the worst, especially if they KS to buy more Dagons instead of buying Deso, orchid, Vlads, or BKB.

Good BH play is totally the stuff pubs are made of, the hero is the best hero for snowballing the game has to offer.

But bad BH play is miserable, aside from keeping his eye on key heroes, he's disgustingly low impact if he's behind or if he's the one getting all the kills, since he is a burst damage hero who needs to get close to do anything.

Isn't it the same for most other heroes? Bad players are terrible to look at, and good players are awesome to look at and play with

I think ever since people saw fy own with BH teams started considering him especially against greedy junglers like Chen or Enigma. He's just so good at taking away those hero's impact and provides additional ganking incentive and a scare factor. Noone will stay in lane at low hp behind their tower if a bounty is in the game. With the new increased INT growth his mana problems were also reduced drastically.

As long as you have a strong laning support who can also gank (SD for example) the early pressure you can put out is tremendous.

In pubs I'd only pick him in a stack that knows how to gank though. At solo queue the risk of getting mates who don't understand ganks is too high.

Don't hate my beloved BH :(
I'm looking forward that he is played more. can't say anything about pubs cause I played doto before 6.84 the last time.
Like masaaki14 said he is perfect for early aggression.
I used to play him a year ago. Sapping exp from offlane or jungle till lvl6 and then straight up ganking safelane and secure a lead in the early midgame

BH fits perfectly into the current aggressive meta. If successfully played, your team doesnt have to care about farming creeps and can focus on applying constant pressure. To me he has somewhat of a unique niche-role since he is a decent ganker BUT still fits into some teamfighting / deathball strats (even tho his impact may be low). Turtle-strats are his downfall however
