I play most of these rare heroes o:o

There is a direct correlation between the amount of SKILL a Hero requires and how often they are picked in pubs. Case in point, Sniper v Chen.

The one exception is Invoker, but 95% of pub Invokers make me throw up in disgust at their ability to miss Alacrity.
There are two kinds of people in the world; those who can count, and those who can't.

Meme central please give me ad revenue

Sniper is actually the 2nd most picked hero after Pudge - although I despair at some of the situations people get him for (please god no space closers).

The bottom few according to DOTABUFF are Chen, Visage, Io, Earth Spirit, Elder Titan and Beastmaster.

The funny thing is that they can all be really strong heroes, and you have the advantage of even quite experienced players not understanding properly how they work. They all fall down though on difficulty to play and/or reliance on good teamplay.

Chen can basically run a game played right (ganks mid, gank safe, take 2-3 towers very quickly).

Visage is a fantastic support when he uses his powers correctly and doesn't feed his minions.

Io banned for most of TI3 for obvious reasons.

Earth Spirit incredibly effective if played by someone who knows how to use him.

Elder Titan huge game impact if used right, with the right allies.

Beastmaster tons of vision, great stun, great aura, good pusher.

But yep, not easy to play.

Allow me to tell you a story, once upon a time in the dark swirling mists of trench tier ranked there gallivanted a wondrous man, a man who had a dream, a dream that someday he would carry his team with elder titan. He searched for a period of 3 minuets and 54 seconds before he found his destiny...on US West, he said to his captain "I play a nice elder titan, maybe we could do a team-fight lineup". His kind and gracious captain accepted the great one's generous offer of prosperity and immanent victory and picked the illusive beast, he then proceeded boldly so to draft a team around around the destined one.
Then Elder Titan proceeded to annihilate the enemy team and the game was over

THE END

I'm a pretty good story teller right?
I was that captain, some random was that titan
Do as I say, not what I do

Dagon elder titan best elder titan.

But seriously it is really strong if you get a decent start and you dont have to build a mek. The damage from your natural order+dagon is insane.
