The glowy little orb by the XP bar, what is it? Now before I go further, I have put my curser over the orb and read the little pop up. I just want to know what effect it has on my games, and what do you do to change it?

You change it by leveling up, until you reach a level where you can obtain arcana items.

It states what the highest rarity of the items you can get from a drop at the end of the game is. If it's common (level 1) then you can only get common items after a match.

I see. So, is it strictly associated to your leveling, or can it also be affected inversely by a penalization (ie. will reports drop your eligibility orb color?).

I've been on 'arcana' level since it was added, highest item I got was common. :P
