Definitely a no, I mean imagine blink on Morphling whut? Anyway I personally do prefer [[force staff] over blink but blink is still a better choice for initiators like tide or SK.
The funny thing is... Blink on Morphling has been done by Ferrari_430 in a serious professional match! :D
- They won't save you sometimes from very mobile heroes, they'll chase you down regardless.
- They won't save you from invisible gankers who may be able to stop you getting away anyway.
- Blink is vulnerable to damage over time and effects like Radiance, especially from illusion heroes like Phantom Lancer or Spectre.
Of course, positioning items are extremely helpful in many situations, but you have to consider other choices - does your team need a Mekansm on you rather than a Blink Dagger? Would a Ghost Scepter provide more survivability in the current situation? Are you vulnerable to being burst down or disabled before you can react? Do you have the reflexes and situational awareness to make the most of their effect?
Blink and/or force are core on heroes who are very position dependent and initiators, e.g. Magnus, Sand King, Tidehunter etc. They're situational on all other heroes - even if you may prefer to get them.
The other slight issue I have with these items are that they can be a crutch for bad positioning skills - good positioning should be learnt and is your first defence. Mobility items are a secondary defence for escaping, and initiating ganks or team fights.
To answer your question its never bad to buy a Force Staff or a Euls Scepter of Divinity except for the hardcarries ofc :)
