Inspired by Angelo's example I decided to have a go at recording a short vid and uploading it for your amusement/information!
It's a game I played earlier on tonight and turned out as quite a nice example. Vid is below - comments welcome, but please be kind - this is my first go! :)
Unfortunately I've only got the trial version of Bandicam and didn't realise it cut out after 10 minutes! Fortunately that was most of what I wanted to show you - the full game is
here if you want to see the rest...

I played an interesting game early on with some good examples of early Sand King support play, with various bits and pieces I wanted to talk about. It takes you through the first 8 minutes of that game with a bit of stunningly good voice over work to explain some of the decisions and actions taken.
(note, this could be total lies)
Hope it's helpful!
Additional Notes
It's always interesting looking back on these games and seeing where you can improve, and if there's anything I missed during commentary (no script, it's all made up on the spot!). Obviously this was a pub rather than a "proper" game, and I don't think there were any stacks on either team. Dotabuff
- Puck trying to go without Tangoes early on versus Skywrath Mage (and extremely good early harasser) is kinda dumb, there we go. We won't go into the Faceless Void pick - it wasn't good against that team, and it's kinda hard to see where the synergy is with our o
A few of you seemed to like the last little video, so I've banged up another one on Youtube from a game I played earlier. This is a demo of what I consider a "sub-optimal" lane, and how to deal with that.
Basically, one guy randomed a SK early on, and I offered to swap. He said ok, and I asked him what he wanted "random" he said...and I got an SD. We agreed not to swap as his SD was even worse! Luckily, this turned out ok for the lanes they picked, but meant that I ended up dual laning with Faceless Void... a lane with almost zero kill potential until level 6...so how do we deal with that?
notes
- Note the lane positioning, I'm consistently back from Void, making it very difficult for Shadow Shaman to disable me, and obviously void couldn't help if I got combo'd.
- I'm not a great SD player, been picking him up occasionally since reading Angelo's guide, but he's not one of my regular int supports. No doubt lots of improvement to be
