It's always interesting looking back on these games and seeing where you can improve, and if there's anything I missed during commentary (no script, it's all made up on the spot!). Obviously this was a pub rather than a "proper" game, and I don't think there were any stacks on either team.

Puck trying to go without
Tangoes early on versus
Skywrath Mage (and extremely good early harasser) is kinda dumb, there we go. We won't go into the
Faceless Void pick - it wasn't good against that team, and it's kinda hard to see where the synergy is with our own -
Blink Dagger Epicenter is about it.

Sand King is great as a kill/semi-jungle type support. He has minimal lane presence until he gets levels, but can setup kills and grab extra farm/xp very efficiently. Once you have level 2 Sandstorm, you can farm stacked hard camps easily.
- Notice that I regularly leave the lane to stack or go gank in order to let my carry get extra XP. Provided your carry can hold his own and get farm, he doesn't want you there except to gank.
- Obviously a solo support SK on that team has his work cut out, there's a lot of support work that needs doing (wards, sentries and courier/flying). First of all, you can't do everything - I didn't buy wards because it would have left me unable to buy essentials.
- You'll notice the
Flying Courier upgrade was a bit late, but I wanted to get some vision up first, and still managed it by about 4 minutes. You really shouldn't need to make these kind of decisions (i.e. if you had 2 supports or maybe no invis heroes on the opposition), but do your best to get the important stuff in.
- I maybe could have body blocked the
Bounty Hunter and prevented him from killing
Lifestealer, can't remember if I had a brain freeze or if he had
Phase Boots anyway.
- We won the game in the end after managing to delay enough times to make our picks work. Tbh a better team really should have beaten us considering the drafts. The
Hand of Midas pickups were extremely risky.

Terrorblade was easily the most effective hero in that game, and was easily ahead of everyone else on farm and game impact (LS was 2nd). It shows how a decent support can really help their carry to thrive.
Fixed!
