So, I've been playing a lot of Luna lately, and can I just say, I think now I have become better at the game I can definitely play her better, I think I have won maybe 4 or 5 games in a row with her currently, and my winrate is getting a lot better than before (10% op). I have reached 34% now, which may sound awful, but it used to be about 10% and I have been winning a lot of games with her recently. I think she is maybe one of the best early game carrys, and scales okay into mid-late game, although will get outcarried by quite a few heroes.
I'd just like to quickly go through her skills to explain to you why I think she is a good carry.
Someone only JUST escaped you with low hp? Lucent Beam.
Someone on you team about to get a kill? Lucent Beam.
Want to farm that creep wave quickly and efficiently? Glaives.
Want to last hit way too easily early game and have your allies harass like never before? Lunar Blessing.
Someone diving you past your tower? Eclipse.
Spotted an enemy in the jungle? Eclipse.
Going for a rune when you spot someone else coming to get it before you? Eclipse.
You get the idea. Personally, she is my favourite carry at the moment, and although she gets rekt by many, you can't deny the satisfaction of someone coming to dive and kill you early, only to run straight into your Eclipse, getting completely owned.
But yeah, my winrate is rising folks, get ready for Bunkansee to become the top tier #1 Luna player ever.
As much as I love playing Luna, I have to admit she is a terrible solo MM hero. You need to be stacked with at least one adequate guy to make her really effective.

Definetly not.
Wraith King - top tier carry, very durable, has high DPS, powerful stun and ultimate, does well from level 6 onwards and can win games if piloted by a player skilled enough. Want to raise wr/MMR? Pick him.
Slark - very high burst damage and survivability, low cooldown spells which are one of the strongest in the game, remains relevant late game especially with Refresher and BKB. Even better at solo winning because he can lane absolutely everywhere.
Luna is a strong and adaptable carry, her main issue is low mana/health pools which need to be addressed, and her short range. Very effective farmer though (esp with Helm of the Dominator) and good midgame presence.

the problem i see with a lot of players is they dont know their item times on heroes and the heroes online time. like Luna needs manta helm quick before the 25 minutes or she will fall off hard and fast.
so her online time runs at 25 mins through to 45 mins... she should be engaging as much as possible... BUT
it depends on the match ups.. for example if the enemy doesnt have a carry that out carries you .. then just farm farm farm make it go late. if they do then follow your online time and make it hurt mid game.

Yeah, on one of my games I basically got manta at I think 20 mins. I farmed really well and contributed in fights well too, but still got about 597 gpm.... sigh
