YOu pulled back the game two times. The third time a very small lead and then everything went south. What happened?

I really needed a thread like this, thanks Blubbles.

First off, I have a big losing streak, and that's mainly because of the following reasons:
  • Carry players that never have buyback gold and spend everything on damage items;
  • Semi-supports that categorically refuse to buy Wards;
  • People refusing to support with, say, Sven, Wraith King or Spirit Breaker in All Random. Seriously, if you're one of them, stop playing AR.
  • And last but not least, people questioning builds used in competitive like Force Staff on Centaur Warrunner ("Wtf you're supposed to be a tank!" as if there was a tank role in Dota) and Blink Dagger on Drow Ranger ("gg throw ranger"), and they still think they're right even if I dominate with those (legit) builds. This happens a lot when I play Dota with friends at a lower level.

I know how you feel guys, I think I'll stop playing Dota for a while because I'm currently in my biggest losing streak ever since I started with this game, and every time I try to play again it's another game lost. I even lose with my favourite heroes :(
I'm no pro, and still have lot to learn, but when you play with people that don't know the basic of last hitting and lane control, don't buy wards if they're support and get picked off wandering alone instead of playing as a team... there's no much I can do :(

I'm also kinda hating the new comeback mechanic, now even if you were dominating early you just need a mistake and the table are turned (and of course it always happens for the enemy team).

I'm working on a few guides (most of which won't be published because I don't like them), but for now I'm fixing the current ones. The Pugna and Zeus ones need some cleanup.

I love going full split push with Mask of Madness and Blink Dagger on Drow, it's the only way I use the Hero. I basically play her as a split pusher until the later stages of the game, the only thing I do in teamfights is chasing fleeing enemies and sometimes kiting the carry. But, you know, this doesn't always work.

This game suffered from no actual carries in my team. We were trying hard to finish the game ASAP, but enemies were smart and they actually had options to negate our push. Zeus, Sand King, even Lina and Timbersaw are decent at clearing creeps. From minute 40 we were just defending, mostly.

Riki in my opinion is still a garbage hero. I just hate him. When we had Axe, Jakiro and Oracle, they picked Venomancer and then Riki last pick as a hard carry. I had to literally advice him to buy Black King Bar and then possibly Monkey King Bar to do anything against Phantom Assassin. He was heading into Sange and Yasha.

Don't mind my Yasha on Jakiro. When they were hitting our Ancient, I bought it while I was dead just to spend some gold. I do it quite often, mostly when I am winning. I am coming near the enemy fountain to buy items, that can be bought in normal shop, like: Yasha, Crystalys, Desolator.

It's very frustrating when everyone refused to work as team and always think they are right, of course there are nice people who willing to listen to others' advice , but usually most people wants to be ******ed.
  • There is a Riki in our team, then everyone else went to Shadow Blade and get owned.
  • Supports not providing wards, carry that cannot last hit, and Pudge that always miss hook and blame teammate.
  • Ho alu men ku lo a li bla bla bla, guess what, foreign language. Sometimes they will says " bla bla bla (your hero name)", and you have no idea what they are saying, then they keep on spamming your hero name coupled with some unknown alien language although you have asked them to speak english ( or local language in your current server ).
  • " Maelstrom? Noob PA what are you trying to do?"

I just had a longest losing streak a week ago, 7 loses until I played Wraith King, because most pubber will constantly trying to bring me down in the middle of teamfight while I have my Reincarnation online, or tower dive me while I reached lv6! Of course good fortune on teaming with humans have helped me a lot on breaking the curse.

I don't mind if I'm losing badly against a decent team, but I will be very disappointed if I team with ******ed and face-palm every time they get owned.

I ... singular ... pulled back the game. i went in to save an overextended TA and got a ultra kill and then a DIEBACK which was good but then .... no push

happened the whole game ... win teamfight - push tower - take tower - then they all farm - they get picked off - now its just me defending pushes.

the third time was i told ss that he was too far out and we had no vision. he stayed there at bot... i said again... dude pull back ur out of position.... i typed it... twice then magnuys went out to portect him when i said dont if he dies we can defend if you die we lose... i then saw the bb heading bot through a ward (THAT I PLACED) and said again... pull back ss pull back mag... 3 times... then i spammed "b" ... still nothing ... then bb jumps them they start running i am with TA and PA at bot tower... we have to help or we lost and then bb just tanks everything and kills us they push for rax and its over.

i was so mad.... i was 10-0-8 at 17 mins. would have been the perfect game but i was stuck with idiots.

*** it.
