I played WC3 again not long ago, and the naga were pretty evil.

They were the high caste of the Night Elves when the world was sundered 10000 years before the game. Their palace fell to the bottom of the ocean, and to survive they made a deal with an Old God and were mutated into the Naga. A sect led by Lady Vashj (Medusa's Dota 1 model) then offered their services to Illidan (Terrorblade's Dota 1 model). Illidan led them to destroy the Frozen Throne, but ultimately failed. Vashj, Illidan and pretty much everyone else involved in the WC3:TFT campaign were killed off in WoW.

I want to play WC3 again now :)
