Better for me to have the divine than the enemy. Especially when it's free.

Also about the Radiance; the only reason I got it was to stop their pushes. Seeing that they had no tower push ability outside of Broodmothers spiders. So I would Ion Shell our Sven and he would go one lane while I pushed out another lane with Radiance.

We literally turtled for a good 20 minutes cause they couldn't take down towers.

To the OP, it's hard to like supporting without a team as already stated, I've floated between 3-4k and supporting is thankless unless you're with friends who understand the importance of the 5th slot support. You can change up the monotony by selecting different heroes to try things with, say a jungling Doom 4th spot for the early Mek, force staff, than transition into a Shivas as the game ensues, you'll net a handful of kills and farm fast with Devour, with the potential to still carry a bit with more big items if the situation fits. Bane Lina Lion Nyx Assassin Ancient Apparition Shadow Demon, all may get you less hate from pubs as well with how easy it is to net kills with each of them. Try new things, or more aggressive, burst oriented supports for those Ks's (kill secures) to appease the irritating carry players 😉. It's hard when most lower MMR pubs only see kdr,some of those supports can amend that hehe

I am lucky that in the couple of solo ranked matches I have played my team actually appreciated my constant supporting. I try to leave kills for my carry and apologise if I get the kill by mistake - LOL Carry Maiden. I've started mixing it up with different supports now as each character can offer different things at each stage of a game and combine with other character's skills. "support your supports!"
P.S. I once played a game where our KotL demanded mid, dominated, went ganking and ended the game with a Divine of his own! We can all use him as a model of the Ultimate Support. <3 Lates

Support is fun, and entertaining. The reason is because you don't really need to bank up money, only for buybacks. the items you need are fairly cheap.

support is the role that dictates the early+mid-game.
as a support you are responsable for yopur carry to get rolling.
bad players just dont know that.
