tbh SnY isnt such a great damage upgrade for Spirit Breaker.
Movement Speed formula: (Base MS + Flat MS increases) * (SUM(!) of %-based MS improvements)
Spirit Breaker Base MS: 290 + Power Treads (50) = 340
SnY Bonus = 16% --> 340*1.16= 394 ....thats 54 Bonus MS, which sure isnt bad, but increases the Greater Bash damage effectively by ~22 (54*0.4). Meaning that ONCE every 6-7th attack you get 22 extra damage.

TL:DR
Fear builds spacecow wrong.
But he is a pretty ****ty hero now, which im glad about because he badly designed boring hero.

It's not every 6-7 maybe or probably but, as I said you need to calculate this mathematically in order to know when is he gonna bash and on which attack. It's not always 5-6 or 6-7 attacks he can bash you straight on the first attack followed by 4 more bashes, 5 maximum I think. Still the 17% chance needs a buff to 20% or 22% chance to bash. Compare to Faceless Void and Slardar's bash it has pretty low chance.

unfortunately this is as mathematically as you get, as Greater Bash doesnt make use of pseudo-random distribution. Meaning that each attack gets its own roll on whether its about to bash or not.

Hmm, just looked this up, never realised it wasn't affected by Pseudo-random. Then again, both Spirit Breaker's actives can manually Proc Bashes so it makes sense.
Unlike most chance-based passive abilities Greater Bash is not governed by Pseudo-random distribution.
Well, I guess that makes increasing Bash Damage even more worthless since you can't even increase the probability of a 1st Bash, let alone it's significantly more likely to go 6 Hits without a Bash.
Well the non-pseudo is both better and worse, yes, you've got no better chance of making one if it's been a while, but no worse if you've just done one. As I said, the best way to "increase your bash chance" is to increase your attack speed - the more attacks, the more likely you are to get one, or lots :)
I.e. if you attack once per second (aps), chance of at least one bash per second is 17%, 2aps is 31%, 3aps is 43% etc (yes I know this is moving the goal posts, but the overall effect is the same)

totally agree....but i think we all can also agree on, that stacking MS items like Sange and Yasha is not worth it, as the damage increase to Greater Bash is pretty much redundant.... the whole point of the skill is really more about the disable.
Spacecow is a pretty "derp" hero anyway: place forehead on keyboard, headbutt keyboard, yay you killed someone who wasn't paying attention!
He doesn't need MoM, SnY, or Drums, but drums are great regardless on pretty much anyone simply for the stat boost, although you can pretty much guarantee a support building it would be more beneficial, while Spacecow can focus on something akin to armlet, bkb.
I wouldn't even consider late game damage items, he was abused so much over the last year, that weaker as a hero, people handle him much better, and he can't really outcarry, well, most carries, so main focus should be initiating ganks, and possibly team fights early-mid when he's much more effective.
Getting vlads could be pretty beneficial as well, damage amp on charge ganks is pretty lovely.
To get back on track, unless you're snowballing out of control, don't even consider late game items IMO, just think about what he needs to gank effectively without being killed, kited, or cc'd
Step 1: Pick Bristleback
Step 2: type in all chat:"GL hf"
Step 3: solo offlane
Step 4: first blood triple kill solo vs trilane
Step 5: continue head butting keyboard
Step 6: don't care, Bristleback doesn't give a ****
Step 7: screenshot repeated: BB OP comments in all chat
Step 8: alternate games with Slark pick
