Abbadon: The most tanky hero in the game build legit or not?

THEORETICALLY: You can do this build on Abbadon which would essentially make you an insanely tanky powerhouse. It would require a lot of farm to get, but if you we're to get it you simply not die. I can't imagine anything that would really kill you, any carry with damage items would just heal you back up, + you can remove de-buffs with your shield, your manta style, aghanims with this build would be worth it as you get 4 seconds extra seconds of not dying, and also some hp.(Which you won't really need to be honest.) Satanic would be refreshed, and you would get back up to full hp with it. The only obvious way to counter this would be with doom, but other than that you would have to shut Abbadon down so he wouldn't be able to do this. I haven't seen builds like this in pub games, but if i we're to see them im fairly sure it would dominate. over the following days or so i'd like to try this out and see actually how strong this build would be.

This gives you a lot of HP and 14 seconds of Ulti, but you have very little Armour and not much damage output, so you die to Right Clicks, and Satanic doesn't help you much

Replace Satanic with Assault Cuirass, Shiva's Guard or Pipe of Insight as needed to be much Tankier. Abaddon is a terrible Right-Clicker, and as Wulfstan said...

Abaddon has no way to Farm effectively, so most (competent) Carries will get 6-slotted before you can even get your 4th Item. This kind of build might be fun for Smurfing players who don't understand why you should not attack Abaddon while his Ult is up, but that's about it.

My verdict == Not legit

I disagree. a level 21 abbadon with my build has 1437 mana, 11.9 mana regeneration. So, satanic doesn't cost any mana, manta is 165, but that's still enough, refresher is 375 mana and all your other skills you probably won't need that much lategame by the time you would have these items.

So, 375 + 165 = 540. The whole combo would take only 540 mana and that's actually not too bad. I do agree that you would lose to a carry though. A carry like antimage can farm fast, so it is indeed true that you probably won't get this build unless you're using a smurf account vs level 1's



with this build i have 12 + 5 armor, that's 50 percent physical damage resistance which isn't amazing, but isn't that bad. I would agree with AC, it would increase physical damage output, but abbadon again, with this build on level 21 does 211+60 damage and 0.67 attack speed with curse of avernus.. This is relatively ok to kill supports, and that's all abbadon is, more of a support killer hero that can tank.


Evidence and stuff just incase anyone is wondering

This build has no damage output whatsoever.
Your nukes are pretty bad late game and you have no items for dps. All you contribute is some utility with your shield, but a support abba without any items can do the same.
Sure you are very survivable, but i dont really see a reason why your enemies would not just ignore you and go for your team :)

if you wanted to be more of a tank/useful member of your team, I would trade out either the heart or satanic for an AC to give both a bit of DPS as well as aura armor reduction
