Don't pay attention to tiers. They're all screwed up at the moment.

Go on dotabuff and look up professional players. Fear. Universe. TC. Literally ANY pro player. All of them are in normal tier (Or unlisted), apparently.

Just play the best that you possibly can. Fulfill your role for your team. Play to win. Buy Dagon. Win forever.

Edit: Tiers do work on a win/loss point system as of now, but DotAbuff is an ineffective way of determining the tier you play in.

What we need is a way for Dota to automatically analyse more indepth stats to attempt to gain a better way to get a MMR that's based on not just your wins and losses but your individual skill. But I understand that this is very hard to manage. I guess we wait and see.

We need Dota 2 to add a KDR tracking system.
