Win-rate has nothing to do with role. There are people who do nothing but lock a carry every game that have a 40% winrate, and there are people who pick smart and what the team needs every game that have a 60% winrate.




Vengful spirit should be played like a carry. Please see below:

KDA isn't everything - it all depends on what and why they happened. A kill can be bad if it's a steal from a more farm dependent hero, it can be good if they were going to get away, if you set it up - basically if it wouldn't have happened otherwise.

Deaths can also be good - if you're dying for a good reason - saving your team mates, trading for a carry etc.

Stats don't give any context. Some of my best DOTA plays have been ones where I've died.

I don't think Hades lost that game, Batrider was 0/10.Also the game is ~ 11 months old.Don't tempt me, I'll get this thread full of support pictures proving my point and many others point: KDR is not everything.

Very Nice, before I answer your questions let me ask some questions.

Are you playing in the Very High Sckill bracket?

Are you mentoring Friends?

Are you playing Random Draft and All Random? Where you may not get a hero you know very well.

Are you playing with friends or are you playing solo most of the time?

Are you playing games where you are the only support?

Are you playing games where the carry speaks english?


Thanks, as you can see there are a lot of dependencies to a won Dota2 game.

3.Occasionally, but I can play any hero.Been keen on playing CD(Captains Draft), but the power supply did not allow me until now.

Now my answers:

1. Yes

4. Solo 90% of the time
5. My games have no support. I buy wards as Blood Seeker, Night Stalker, and basically any other hero.
6. Yes and No


Now does my winrate make more sense to you? KDR is the best way to justify a good player. Because players that are bad or (good support players) are unable to maintain such a KDR. Mind you I am not saying that a Good Support player is a bad player. That is an outlier in the KDR justification.
