Viper

Batrider wouldn't probably a good choice, when i used Viper against Batrider his harassments are easy to deal with a Magic Wand. Then again, i never killed him even though i could grab the farm, so...

Well, it was just as you say, Batrider uphill with the creeps and me downhill, yet i still get the last hits and still harass him, so technically i won the farm?

Viper is squishy early, so that's the biggest advantage. Probably before level 5, before he can orbwalk with Poison Attack.

if you can't last hit, that's going to be your main problem :) especially against Viper.. I play a decent viper, and I'm good at last hitting/denying - someone that can't farm and the lane is 1v1, is vipers perfect enemy :)

try burst heroes, who rely on skills to farm, like magnus, death prophet.

another protip - most vipers will try to 'dive' you at level 6, even 5 - with a death prophet, you can kill him. the trick with viper (and pudge) is DONT RUN.. man up and fight, you'll be surprised how well you do. skill him immediatly, stand your ground, and skill him again - he'll probably die, viper is squishy.. and his high damage doesn't kick in until your are really low hp..

True dat, one of viper's "wheapons" is intimidation. Don't be afraid of him. And with a nuking spell or a stun, you can go a long way.
