Are you sure Wulfy?

Quoted:
Hex shuts off all abilities on heroes except the following:

Upgrade-granted ones, like Marksmanship, Spell Shield, Dragon Blood
Triggered abilities like Counter Helix, Backtrack, Craggy Exterior and certain other passives
Unsilencable abilities like Reincarnation
Toggled abilities like Mana Shield, Rot, Pulse Nova, Agility Gain, although they couldn't be switched for the duration of Hex

Hex also disables True Sight granted by Gem of True Sight, Burn damage from Radiance, Evasion, and Damage Block.

Auras have a fade time and will vanish after 2-4 seconds if their carrier is hexed.

Hex will not affect the unit's magic resistance or armor nor dispel any buffs, thus certain abilities like Shapeshift or Surge would still grant affected unit maximum movement speed.

From Dota2Wiki - or would "unsilencable" abilities include Backtrack? Unfortunately I couldn't seem to find a list.

Would be interesting to know for sure. My only previous experience with this was playing in a pub - we had a Lion on the team and they had a Faceless Void. The Lion got a load of grief for trying to Finger of Death Void without Hexing him first (it got Backtracked) off some other people on the team...

I always thought things like Hex and Silence which put the "bars" on your abilities would block passives as well...but then again Backtrack is a Maverick, and plays by it's own rules.

Well, apparently Bristleback turns into a spiky pig when hexed, so I'd say that Hex also disables many passives which not included in the list.
