Naga Siren Competitive Play?

I'm a big fan of Naga Siren, but whenever I watch or join tournaments and competitive matches, I don't see her around. Is there a reason for this? Or it's just because she is rarely played?

shes fairly played actually. Riptide has very high damage at level and is pretty spammable, ensnare is a physical disable (goes through magic immunity), mirror images at lvl 4 are pretty good (like pl illusions) and sleep is a great setup. Shes been played more due to the buffs in 6.78.

She actually isn't played that much anymore because Vacuum got nerfed.Buffs?Her riptide CD got reduced with 3 seconds.

Try watching Team Liquid matches, recently they've played her as a Solo Mid quite often (whenever she isn't banned or picked by the other team). Here's some games from "The Defence 4"

so basically, Team Liquid almost always picked Naga whenever the other team didn't

Teams like fnatic and TL also run as a support and riptide cd became 10 seconds at all levels which made her a viable mid. Some teams put her as the carry as well.

Almost any LGD game form Ti2 has Naga banned or picked.
