I have found the most efficient build for tinker... this is defensive in nature, and still benefits the team offensively...

First thing you want to do is go to a dual lane with a ranged lane partner... Mirana, for example. What you want to do is rush tranquil boots and phase for both heroes, while Mirana can spam her spells as a form of focus fire.

I like phase + tranquil on Luna because she has highest MS and so gets the most effect, you wouldn't use MoM on her.

I like it on pugna because of his range and MS. (Phase boots are actually suggested for him). He usually stays out of range of harassment so they don't break down. He is the harasser.

I like Tranq + Phase on darkseer, although he has 300 ms, I'm just bothered by how much one must put in to his MS skill for how short it lasts despite being max MS. It doesn't synergize that great with the purple spike bubble, so many times I put 1 point in it or none at all and just do stats to do more damage, get more armor and life, and more mana to cast bubble to farm anyways.

I was getting a eal of dischord on him instead of angaurd (Sorry my key between B and C is not working).

MoM works best when doing the build I described. Dischord's area of effect is meant more for area of effect spells like inokers meteor. It's a matter if keeping the bubble present on the enemy.

After that it's just about maxing out dagon asap.

So there you go, there is one character who I won't be double booting on.

I'll say this though, one of my inspirations for the double boot thing came from a Death Prophet who used Boots of Trael + Phase.

That makes, perhaps more sense....

but items do posses that role element on many for each one, like MoM could be the helm of the initiator :D.

Bloody hell. Phase is suggested for Pugna once he gets a Void Stone at least. He has prolly one of the highest base damage for a ranged INT hero so he can shoot hell to those who try to come close to him.

If you need Tranquil on him, that's means you are not playing him as he should be. Furthermore, he can drain **** loads of hp at level 6, making it more of a reason to not buy Tranquil. His Decreptify + Nether Blast combo can sent nearly any mid hero back to his fountain so it is normal they don't get too close to him.

What the XXXX, why do you want phase on Dark Seer, he can Surge like no tomorrow. Do you even know how to play Dark Seer? He's not called a support for no reason. Last time I teamed up with Phantom Assassin, I dumped all my buffs on her so she can get the kill.

One way of playing Dark Seer is putting ION SHELL on your enemies and let him burn his allies to death, or break their initiation.

would it be legitimate to use a force staff on a centaur?

cause that is something I would do... would you agree with that?

Blink Dagger is much better item for Centaur, allows for more suprise and have longer range.
